Elton John Not Feeling the Love After Playing Rush Limbaugh's Wedding {PopEater}

Aug 11th 2010 2:52PM Does anyone see the blatant irony here?

Who's demonstrating more tolerance here? You guys that are saying awful things about Elton or Elton for entertaining people, even though he may have moral differences with the audience?

The audience clearly can put aside moral differences of opinion with Elton to enjoy a good show and Rush can put aside moral differences to pay someone a good sum of money to hear a good show at his wedding and Elton can put aside moral differences so as to entertain some people, which is his JOB.

The only people who can't set aside their moral differences here, are the very people who get so pissed off when people can't set aside their moral opinions about their moral decisions in life.

You just have to shake your head and wonder. If Rush said on air that he'd never hire Elton due to their moral differences, gays would be outraged that Rush would never hire someone like that. But then they're outraged that Elton would take a gig from Rush and surprised that Rush would hire Elton. So funny.

Sprint hooking up with Walmart for WiMAX buildout? {Engadget}

Jan 13th 2010 12:15AM I actually predicted this exact scenario (WiMax and Walmart) in June of 2004. Read my blog post about it from June 21, 2004 here:

Are More Wealthy People Giving Up The U.S. Passport To Avoid Taxes? {Luxist}

Aug 18th 2009 12:57PM I'd give my citizenship up in a heartbeat if there were somewhere else better to go. But for now, there's really nowhere to run. Every country has taxes and the ones that are lower, aren't so much lower that it's worth becoming an expatriate over.

I used to be so proud to be an American. That was before we became a socialist country and becoming more and more of one, by the month. So sad. Very sad.

Is Apple shooting in the dark to fix iPhone 3G issues? {Engadget}

Aug 20th 2008 1:26PM I get dropped calls about 2 to 7 times a day (or more.) It's absolutely hideous. Apps will just cease to operate in the middle of my using it. I can't get my contacts to sync correctly with my gmail address book. And 3G? Yeah, right? Not in Portland, OR. When it's there, it's a miracle. Most times, it's not.

I'm very, very disappointed with this phone overall. You can have the best interface in the world but if they stupid thing doesn't do what it was designed to do, what good is it?

Subject: This soldiers perspective on the Redacted issue. {Blog Maverick}

Nov 19th 2007 8:52PM I'm so disappointed you would put your money towards this kind of project, Mark. You seem to be someone who is so positive and ready to take life by the tail while it soars, never to let go. I haven't seen the movie, and won't. But I've heard enough about it that I'm just saddened. Very saddened. I was in the military and I prefer to think, despite the flaws of individuals (in all professions) the ideals that me and my fellow airman/soldiers upheld were worthy and upright. I just don't see any purpose in telling a story that is associated with a relative few within the military. It just gives anti-military Americans (read: liberals) fodder for their on-going war on America and what the spirit of America is trying to do for the world.

Cheers!
