May 14th 2010 5:18AM I will never buy, accept or wear a diamond. The diamond trade is corrupt and based on slavery and murder. The most "respectable" merchants obtain diamonds via channels which allow them to hide the fact that they are "blood diamonds" but the fact remains. I am not wearing something of absolutely NO real use which people were enslaved and died to obtain for me. Not a chance. Not EVER!
May 14th 2010 5:12AM Despite your efforts at poor spelling I must agree with SoCal. There is NO WAY you're a kid. Posing as one maybe... and why oh why would that be???
May 14th 2010 5:06AM Are you BLIND? I don't care about the outfits. Well not too much anyway. The bottoms are actually kinda cute. The ISSUE is 7 year old children being forced to dislplay overtly sexual moves ie: "popping and dropping" or "pelvic thrusts" or "bumping and grinding" depending upon your understanding of dance/pop culture. Comprende?
May 14th 2010 4:49AM PS ... I am as far from conservative as a human being can get. This is not about being overly conservative. This is about the safety and welfare of little girls and preventing the exploitation of children. The only thing you have right is that it is rare for children their age to "move like they do" or in less suggestive terms to have the gross and fine motor control and memory involved in such "complex dance." They would have been even MORE awesome and could have moved just as quickly to something far less suggestive. NO CHILD SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE PEDOPHILE BAIT! Your defense of what they are doing just reeks, and your concern that people are upset and protective of these kids is more than a little creepy. I am not at all surprised that you have seen competitions and recitals. I'll bet you've seen lots and lots of them!
May 14th 2010 4:40AM Gee "Andreaa" (what an odd name for a middle aged pedophile) --don't sound so disappointed that they're not stripping for you too. The ONLY person who would be telling people to calm down over this is a total perv. How many searches have you done so far, trying to get "contact information" for these little girls???
May 14th 2010 4:36AM Well said! Here's hoping they at least screen who delivers the poles! As for the rest of the creeps suddenly interested in this "art form" one can only imagine how hard they are trying to get close to these little "objects". Are you people defending this obscenity just mommies trying to live vicariously through your little girls, jaded pedophiles or just plain s t u p i d ? You'd h a v e to be one of the above. This is what happens when Hentai freaks procreate. If you look at those little girls you will note that the asian race is over-represented as compared to the general population. I doubt this is by chance. I love video gaming (as a MMORPG player myself) but some aspects of the Japanese culture and their utter disregard and objectification of women do n o t need to be adopted here.
May 14th 2010 4:23AM All you PERVERTS defending this abasement and degradation of innocent little girls, I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING while you watch the video over and over again. Your breathless "applause" sounds suspiciously like something else! I agree totally with the person who said the coaches and parents should be charged with child endangerment. Every one of those little girls just became the object of some sicko's obsession. I don't think the video should even be available on the internet without some of the moves blocked out. Those poor little children...and the others who will suffer because of societal acceptance of this kind of trash... Wrong, just wrong.
May 14th 2010 3:56AM ...and I thought I couldn't be shocked. Apparently I was wrong. Agreed, the dancers are talented and fierce and innocent in this situation. They're just having fun. But OMG, those outfits and some of the overtly sexual moves would be inappropriate for HIGH SCHOOL age girls! And people wonder why so many little girls are victimized these days??? And to think I thought those little girl beauty contests were disgusting....which of course they still are. What are these parents and coaches thinking??? Sure, sex sells, but it shoudln't apply at SEVEN YEARS OLD!
May 14th 2010 3:31AM Cougar Town was ALWAYS an offensive name and I'm sure turned many viewers *like me* away from the show, which seems to have far more depth and character than the ridiculous title would indicate. Being of a "certain age" I detest terms like Puma (allegedly what I am) and Cougar anyway. I'd LOVE to know what people would call people like Michael Douglas...but then it's always been "okay" for men to seek mates decades outside their age and non medicated sexual functionality. Perhaps a good new title would be something like Bent Not Broken.
May 14th 2010 2:34AM If prostitution were legalized and regulated things like this would not happen; or if they did prosecution and enforcement would be far more simple. Pimps would be a thing of the past and non adult girls would no longer be illegally abducted, forcibly drugged and trafficked into the "job". Men will always cheat. ALWAYS. Far better they have their needs met by someone who is willingly engaging with them. Far better that sex workers be certified healthy with use of "protection" mandated so at least the "patrons" wouldn't bring diseases home to their unsuspecting wives/girlfriends.
