One Touch Can Opener review: If it only kept working ... {WalletPop}
Oct 14th 2010 4:32PM I hate to be a "victim blamer" but I blame you ALL. You victims are usually women, but its time you learn also.
How many times do people need to be victimized by new gadgets produced in a capitalist society to make a quick profit, before we learn that 95% of all 'revolutionary' new products are junk! All the good ideas have already been thought. I knew this thing would be worthless when I first saw it, and I saved my money. Now, I see I was right...again. The mere fact that it uses batteries, alone, screams "J-U-N-K"!!!
People....wake up!
The Hottest Nail Colors for Fall 2010 - Whether You're a Princess or a Pauper {Stylelist (Main)}
Sep 16th 2010 4:18PM What is so new about "greige" ...I used it over 30 years ago in design classes. Later, the trendy started calling in "taupe". Deliver us from capitalism.
The hidden (and not-so-hidden) meanings of 12 brands' favorite numbers {WalletPop}
Sep 15th 2010 4:31PM And thank you very much , Scott, for giving me that opening to bring a little politics into THIS blog! ( Just what we need, eh?)
Don't forget folks who brought about that lousy prohibition: the same scumbag republican who plunged this country into the depression: Herbert Hoover.
And also don't forget who ended his tyranny, ...our greatest president : Democrat Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who would STILL be in office after winning 4 consecutive elections, if he hadn't died!
Joaquin Phoenix Facing Letterman Again {AOL TV}
Sep 13th 2010 10:36PM Naomi, I agree with you. Although I loved "Signs", Phoenix appears none-too-polished, here. I can't imagine what's gone wrong with him, here, but the follow-up interview doesn't exactly speak well of the likes of David Letterman OR of late-night TV. It just reminds me of why I don't tune in , in the first place.
City Jobs: Top 50 Cities for Jobs This Fall {AOL Jobs}
Sep 11th 2010 10:43PM I wouldn't believe one stinking word of this...with the "find a job" links on the side, it's obvious someone is only looking to further their e-mailing list.
Remembering Mother Teresa {AOL Hot Searches}
Aug 27th 2010 12:36PM Blind, idiot catholics....instead of protesting the un-important Empire State Building thing, they should be picketing the vatican for the overly-politicized and unfair cannonization process. Fast- track indeed!
I'm glad our pastor automatically declares all who die from our catholic church a saint, and to hell with the pope and Rome!
Things Gays Say -- Location, Location, Location {Queer Sighted}
Aug 27th 2010 6:00AM Very good, Bill.
Let's you and I remain in the homo mainstream, and forget this gay-trendy vocabulary which is inclined to change before I finish typing this response.
Would Andy Cooper Give Up His Trademark Grey For a Cool Million? {Queer Sighted}
Aug 27th 2010 5:49AM Jason,
in my book, that's the difference between being homosexual and being "gay": You use phrases like "we all know", and I don't...because I don't REALLY know, and I don't accept the latest gay-bar blather as proof of something that personal about someone I have never met, just because it makes me feel better about myself.
Would Andy Cooper Give Up His Trademark Grey For a Cool Million? {Queer Sighted}
Aug 24th 2010 5:09PM Leave it to just one more typical, finger-snapping, gay-trendy homologue to come up with another gotcha-back term like "glass-closet newsman". Zach, I'll bet you didn't sleep a wink the night you layed awake and figured that one out.
If you haven't slept with the man, then you need to keep your big, trend-setting, inferiority-complexed mouth shut about other people you don't know. Come to think of it, you need to keep your big mouth shut even if you HAVE slept with the man!
Superheroes as Role Models: Today's Heroes Send the Wrong Message to Boys {ParentDish}
Aug 18th 2010 3:22PM This couldn't be TOO much of a non-story, Tira...it caught your eye. There are good points made in the essay and they're obviously to help PARENTS make an informed decision about their children's entertainment...the assumption of the parenting role is still quite obvious.
