Dec 9th 2010 1:37PM Deidre: I just wanted to let you and your readers know this one is located on Marcos Island, FL, near Naples.
Dec 6th 2010 1:07PM Wow. I would have never guessed that it was the house from one of my all-time favorite films. It doesn't look like much now, but it sure did in the movie.
I would buy it for its place in film history alone.
Dec 6th 2010 12:57PM There are SO many expensive watches out there that are ALSO attractive. Why does this blog always seem to focus on the ugly ones?
Dec 2nd 2010 6:34PM For me, it's not "hating" on Deidre, lol. I enjoy her posting every morning.
However, she DOES have a tendency to show homes that are "dated" (and by that, I don't mean "older style" -- I mean homes that are 30-40 years old that haven't been updated (bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)).
She also almost exclusively features homes with wooden beams (as if expensive and/or good taste automatically meant beams).
I am one of many on here that don't care for the excess of beams in the featured homes.
Dec 2nd 2010 2:31PM OMG. The one you linked to is HEAD OVER HEALS nicer and more spectacular than the EOTD.
I would MUCH rather buy a house where the updating has already been done.
Dec 2nd 2010 1:11PM This one isn't bad, but nowhere NEAR as nice as the other home for sale in Carmel at the exact same price:
Dec 1st 2010 1:09PM Deidre: I know you know like rustic, beams, and stone ... but just wanted to let you know not everyone does ;)
Nov 27th 2010 11:13AM OMG. I was just about to post the very same thing! I would have never guessed she was supposed to be Miley, lol.
Nov 22nd 2010 12:58PM Believe it or not, I have never had a Christmas tree. I would love to have one.
Nov 21st 2010 9:35PM I was just about to post the same thing.
If I hadn't seen the story saying it was a Miley Cyrus parody (or the title in the video) ... I wouldn't have known it was supposed to be her.
