20 New Ways to Use Magic Erasers {DIY Life}
Apr 24th 2011 9:13PM I, too, find these little jewels indispensable. However, when I use one to clean my sink, I can't help but wonder just what that is that works so well, i.e., is it safe? It's obviously very strong stuff. I make sure that I don't leave any residue on the sink, lest it taint some foodstuff later.
Household Expenses You Can Do Without {WalletPop}
Mar 4th 2011 5:15PM Most of you do-gooders who advocate line drying the wash do not seem to consider the electricity ironing uses. I hate ironing; consequently, I buy only permanent press garments/fabric and use my wonderful clothes dryer.

Jan 18th 2011 3:10PM I'm sorry you're so down on America. I suggest you either do something to make it better, or go to Europe where you say everything's so much better.

Nov 3rd 2010 10:24PM If the food police can detect the presence of harmful bacteria in a product, why don't they simply test the 50,000 lbs. or so and see if it's in there?

Oct 28th 2010 12:11PM If it was their intent to make him look like a girl, then they have surely succeeded. I would not have guessed this was a photo of a guy.
Hiker's Will to Live {MyDaily}
Oct 25th 2010 9:24PM You wanted to know what we are who wrote about your comment. Speaking for myself, I am an old retired lady, with only a high school education. I retired as a secretary (born proofreader) in 1999. The difference is that I paid attention when I was in school and have not spent the intervening years vegetating in front of the boob tube.

Oct 25th 2010 6:24PM Your comment is a classic example of the current inability to spell, or to use the correct word in written pieces. "Then" instead of "than" (not once, but twice-at least you were consistently wrong), "superfalace" instead of "superfluous", and "they conscience" instead of "they are conscious of". Give me a break! People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. If you're going to critique someone else's writing, you should ascertain that yours is correct. I am convinced that you "almost failed English frequently."
New Town, No Pals? Why It's Harder to Find a BFF As a Grown-Up {Lemondrop}
Jul 14th 2010 10:11PM You are all overlooking one B-I-G friend-producing venue: CHURCH. Get involved in the church of your faith and that will be a good foundation for a lasting friendship. If you have no church affiliation, you need to develop one!

May 31st 2010 11:55AM Yes, you're "old fashioned", and it makes my day to know that there's still SOMEone who is. I can't imagine being "in love" with a dude who drank to the point of passing out in the bushes. But, then, the bride-to-be sounds like she's not averse to drinking her fair share herself. There are so many other things to make life enjoyable, WITHOUT drinking alcoholic drinks.
