So many union people were able to do so much better in life for their families. I do no understand the petty comments be some of you. Yes, at unions have had their problems, but in general they did more good than bad. I am sick to death of listen to ignorant people who don't have sense enough to research first and then comment. Pres. Obama has been a professor of U.S. Constitutional Law, a community organizer, a State Representative and a State Senator. He was the first black editor of the Harvard Law Review, has written 2 best selling books and won a Grammy for best audio book reading. Plus he graduated at the top of his class at Harvard. And no Pres. Obama doesn't alway use a teleprompter to read speech. It is interesting that people like yourself don't seem to know that all U.S. presidents since JFK have used teleprompters which is very common. Pres. Obama however cannot be using a teleprompter when he is being questioned now can he? He has been in front of many crowds and answered questions of the cuff.
I, for find it problematic that Palin would be upset that she was asked what she read. Obama has been asked the same question and yet had no problem answering that question. I have watch him talk about the books that he has read. Yes, he is a well read man. Palin had a 2.2 GPA in high school and went to 5 colleges before she could find one that she could graduate from. Plus it seems that while she was governor of Alaska it appears that her husband Todd was helping her make most of her decisions. So, no Palin is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I am a independant voter and I find her to be very shallow and down right petty. Presidential material she isn't. And I don't care how much money she made last year, she still talks and says nothing. In 2008 I listened to her and kept hearing a blank card. It's 2010 and she hasn't changed my mind.

Apr 15th 2010 5:10PM When you look at it the Obama gave quite a lot to charities, so they are quite generous. Plus they paid almost 2 million dollars in taxes, so they are not tax cheats. They no doubt paid more and gave more than many who are rich and try to hide their money in offshore accounts. Many no doubt are alot of Tea Party supporters, right-wing neocons, who have no mercy or real love in them execept for the love of money and hate for Pres. Obama. Where were you when the Bush adminastration was so busy putting more people in proverty and starting a war based on a lie? Well, suck it up! Because we finally have president who is better than the C student types that you seem to like so much. I saw a interview with the new Russian president who when ask what did he like about Pres. Obama? He replied " Well unlike someone who shall remain nameless, he thinks believe he opens his mouth". The Russian also said that he respected Pres. Obama very much and liked him. Even he can see that Pres. Obama has got more on the ball than former Pres. Bush. Since June 1, 2009 Maryland has made it against the law for illegal immigrants to have driver's licenses. If you are an illegal immigrant and you had a current license it is good until it expires up to 2013. After 2013 you will not be able to renew it. Also any illegal immigrants with license that are current will be good until it's expiration date, after the expiration date or 2013 illegal immigrants will not be able to renew their license. This was a big issue in Maryland among illegal immigrants and their advocates, so much so that they went to the State House in Annapolis, MD to protest the anti-illegal immigrant driver's license bill. It did not work, but what they got was a concession that allowed them to keep them up to 2013.
