'Man Down': We Interview Dan Abrams About Why He Believes Women Are Better Than Men {MyDaily}

Mar 3rd 2011 4:59PM Let's look at this rationally. First, be wary of "studies" and "statistics". They can be manipulated by something as simple as how a question is worded and asked. "Figures lie and liars figure." Second, never accept anything anyone says without question because none of us a perfectly neutral on any subject. Always ask what the premise that the author is starting from.

My point?? Men and women are different, this is a fact. Different, according to Mr. Webster, does not mean better or worse, just different. When we learn to respect that, instead of trying to prove who is better, this world will be a much happier place.

Rex Ryan Guarantees Super Bowl Title for Jets' Next Season {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Feb 24th 2011 9:13PM Dear Coach Ryan:

The Jets might win a title if you could keep your mouth shut and stop giving bulletin board material for all your opponents. You are a classless jerk!!

Tom Walter, Wake Forest Baseball Coach, Donates Kidney to Player {Fanhouse MLB Blog}

Feb 9th 2011 11:32AM With all the bad news in the world and selfishness that athletes and athletic programs get, it is truly refreshing to hear a story like this one. It does renew my faith that there is still goodness and unselfishness in the world!!

Oklahoma Official Questions Hiring Pregnant Woman {ParentDish}

Jan 28th 2011 5:19PM Forgive me if this has been brought up before, but according to every hiring and anti employment discrimination, it is illegal to exclude a candidate on the basis of race or gender. Included in the gender prohibition is exclusion on the basis of pregnancy. It's that simple...Doesnt matter what the position is it simply is illegal to exclude a candidate because they are pregnant or plan to get pregnant in the near future.

Man Sues Facebook for Disabling Account, Claims Religious Discrimination {Switched}

Jan 28th 2011 7:38AM I believe if you check your American History, people came to this country for RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, now to my understanding, that means the right to worship (or not) any God they please. Yes I am and I wish the whole world were Christian, but this country is not now, nor ever has been a Christian Nation. To believe otherwise is to mock the soldiers who have died and others who have and continue to make sacrifices to defend this and other freedoms.

Also if you check, I believe you will find many of the founding fathers were agnostics.

Roger Ebert Gets Fired Up Over 'Huck Finn' Censorship, Then Apologizes {PopEater}

Jan 6th 2011 9:39PM Time for the thought police to throw themselves in prison!! You cannot judge a 19th century author by 21st century societal standards. ALL works of literature need to be judged in the light of the time in which they were written. What next, are they gonna re-edit "The Grapes of Wrath" because the word "Okies" offend the fine people of the state of Oklahoma? This is getting out of hand.

Pete Carroll, Seahawks Get Last Laugh {Fanhouse - Lisa Olson}

Jan 3rd 2011 8:00AM For those Seattle detractors, all I need do is remind you that there have been wildcard teams win the Superbowl and even remind you of the Arizona Cardinals a few years back who were supposedly "the worst team to back into the playoffs" and they came 1 play from winning the Superbowl in a shootout.

I am NOT a Seattle Fan, but it is the playoffs and everyone is 0-0. The games are played on the field, not on paper and anything can happen.

Brett Favre: 'I Know It's Time' {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Jan 2nd 2011 10:20PM I have a question. Who are all you Favre bashers gonna pile on next season??? I am not of fan of retiring and unretiring, however very few people who lace it up and knock heads on the field do it with the fire, passion and class of Mr. Favre. I hope he stays retired so the NFL and you Favre beaters can move on.
