Tips to help you be a smart dollar store shopper {WalletPop}
Jan 24th 2010 2:36PM The only product that has dissapointed me from Dollar Tree are the plasstic water spray bottles. Ive tried different types, and they all fail.They either leak like crazy, or dont spray at all. I love most everything else there though!
Conan O'Brien Reportedly Leaving NBC Next Week {PopEater}
Jan 14th 2010 8:51PM I love Conan, and will follow him wherever he might go. Jay should be the one to gracefully accept failure and move on. Its not fair to dismiss contractural obligations and force Conan out. Jay should go.

Oct 3rd 2009 12:55PM I let my 11 YO ride his bike to the local market (maybe 75 yards from the house) and he's allowed to visit friends on our block and play.I also allow him the freedom to roam through the grocery store or mall when we are there as a family (its too far for him to get there alone, anyway). This puts my mother in law and basically all of my in laws into a frenzy.I am critisized and lectured by them constantly. I am made to feel that I am a horrible mother for letting him out of my sight at all. The fact that i've taught him to be safe and aware of his surroundings doesnt matter. I am (in their eyes) extremely irresponsible for allowing him to be away from my side for even a minute.I am protective of him, but not to the extreme. Its important for children to have an opportunity to test their wings a bit. My child is the most giving, sweet, funny well rounded child. He also has built a great level of self confidence, that he never had when he was treated like a "fragile baby". You should see how bratty and spoiled their kids are.My brother in law's motto is " if there is even a minute chance that something might happen, then I could never take the chance." How do you expect your child to get through life???

Sep 8th 2008 2:27PM the 1st time I saw it, I actually got pissed off. I assumed that they picked an asian guy(with thick accent) because I figured the Japanese probably own this company now.And this is probably someone involved with the ownership of the buisness. Nothing in America is owned by americans anymore. That is the 1st thing I thought.
The beginning of allergies? {ParentDish}
Sep 19th 2006 7:36PM My son had moderate eczema since birth, allergist confirmed no food allergies, and we were perplexed. We finally got it under control by using cortizone (only when really bad) and just keeping him lubricated EVERY day. He is 9 years old now, and he still has a constant patch on his butt that will just not go away. Everyone told me tht he would eventually outgrow it, but unfortunately that hasent happened yet. He at least dosent get it everywhere like he did before. I just had a new daughter, that is 9 months old, asnd so far (i'm keeping my fingers crossed) she hasent developed any symptoms. Good luck! I hope your babe outgrows it!
