Crantzdorf Estate, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Dec 9th 2008 1:14PM Now there's a house you can actually see why it costs as much as it does. . .but I wish there was more pics of the interior!

$65 Million In Malibu, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Jul 11th 2008 2:45PM It baffles me why somebody would want to pay $65 mil on a fairly boring looking home with no backyard. I realize you're paying for the supposed prestige of Malibu, but in the end you're getting nearly nothing for your money except an idea or a concept - that Malibu is for some reason worth 20x the price of anywhere else.

Palisades Teardown, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Feb 25th 2008 2:14PM Wow, if this is a teardown, I guess that means I live in a destitute hovel. A lot of people would pay good money for the distressed look and all the woodwork. I agree it needs basic remodeling and certainly plenty of decorating. But a complete teardown? Seems like a shame to me. Maybe the pics don't convey how it looks in real life. . .

Llenroc Estate, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Oct 4th 2007 3:08PM I love the portals to the swimming pool in the bar.

Malibu Road, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Jun 9th 2007 5:54PM I'd live there, but then how would I throw stones?

Seriously, I think it's pretty darn uninviting. Minimilism is creepy to me. No privacy whatsoever. There's a beautiful view though. . .of you to other people.

Vallejo Deluxe, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Apr 12th 2007 5:12PM Though awfully gawdy, that house is just rich in character and really feels like its of a different era. Cool stuff. I think it's funny though that apparently they have a view of the golden gate bridge, but they still need a mural of it. Why look at a picture when the real thing is right there?

Santa Barbara Olive Company, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Mar 22nd 2007 2:23PM Serious decor help? I expected so much worse when you said that. It really isn't all that bad. Perhaps a country style that neither you nor me would choose, but it is SO much nicer than most people's homes.

Villa Esperanza, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Jan 17th 2007 1:17PM To me, it seems odd to have such a beautiful and expensive home, but have it practically touching your neighbors house as if it is some standard tract home. If I had 9 million to spend, I'd want to live somewhere with some privacy and breathing room. . .

The Palms at Pembroke, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Jan 3rd 2007 1:40PM Awwww. . .I wanted to see pics of the elevator and the aquarium. They missed the good stuff!

Montana Winterwood, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Dec 22nd 2006 2:46PM To me, this has a real WOW factor. Looks worth every penny. If only I had enough pennies to buy it. . .
