Apr 28th 2010 2:28PM My husband had a devestating stroke on March 13,2010 just a few weeks ago. He can not speak and his right side has been affected. He understands what you say and what is going on around him. Just wanted to share that I'm kinda in the same boat as the family. Being worried,afaid to leave him, and all the other things that go along with having someone you love in that condition. I'm thinking and praying for your family also.
One other thing, they said diabetes played a part in what happened to you. Everyone that has diabetes and the family of them take this problem seriously.
I'm praying for you and trying to take inspiration from you too.

Also Steve, the age of 42 is not old. This should be a very good time in life.
My family has also been there. Only my brother was in his early 30s So sorry!!!
