Obama Report Card {Politics Daily}

Mar 13th 2009 4:49AM I am writing a lot of stuff so I can vent and you will not read it because it is really not interesting but only to me....thank you, thank you very much.

I voted for the man, yes I did. Regrets, I have a few. But, the politicking is what ails me. He is the President, like it or not. It is a downright shame that you have to kiss ass of someone in the "Good 'ole Boys" club inside the beltway.

Remember the commercial where the Fire Chief is at the podium and the firefighters are in the seats. He says who wants clean water? They all say we do. He gavels down and says passed. Politicking, if businesses were to be operated like "our" country is by these "Good 'ole Boys", products just would not make it to the shelves when we need them the most.

I, like many others, have a great dissatisfaction with those who are running the business of our country. I would ask them, our leaders, where is the product we need so we can have a life like they are having. I mean, they have excellent pay, great health care, some get driven to their office, and, they have get a pocket full of "our" money to party so they can politic. Bull.

My family and I have made drastic cutbacks financially. We did not have to, but we did. The "Good ole' Boys, their cronies, large companies, the PACS, all of those who play a part in spending and taking our well earned money are having the time of their life. My family and I are not enjoying so much of what is going on.

This is for those who are the "Good ole' Boys" up there in DC. Cut back spending, let some of those large companies fail, quit giving our well earned tax dollars away, stop the partying, drive yourself to work, sharpen a pencil when it is dull not get a new one, help those Americans who need the help, investigate the insurance companies and the high cost of health insurance (malpractice suits seem to be a thing of the past), in fact all insurance companies except GIECO, lol, stop wearing thousand and two-thousand dollar suits or dresses, look at the movie and TV industry 57,ooo dollars for a haircut outrageous, give the American people some good news, stop grilling department heads on capitol hill for no reason but to make you look good. I had more but my fingers are sore. My fingers are sore, right.

Actually, I am tired of hearing the "Good ole' Boy" network say to me, I am working for you. Bull. Because remember what they say about lawyers and that is all you have up there in DC. A whole lot of lawyers talk a good game. I understand we need lawyers. That is how the system is. We need doctors too. And engineers, teachers, mathematicians, postal workers, cab drivers, pilots for our ailing airline industry, people to make gas for our gas guzzling cars, store folks, people to put up playground equipment for our children, pastors and priests, technicians (a variety of them), medical transcribers, judges (yes, judges), and most of all - LEADERS.

Don't we all say at one time or another, I can do better that this person or that person. That means to me you have an idea, a thought that something can be developed better. I say let those in power know, write them, don’t sit in here and write your complaints. Write the "Good ole' Boys" up there in DC. Your state Reps' even, the Governors, your local Supervisors. Write them to say, enough is enough.

You take what little money we have and spend like there is no tomorrow. And the results are almost always bad for us. I mean our pay does not go up, but everything else does. How long do they think this will last? That is my ultimate question. And if somebody out there, who took the time to read all my venting, can answer that question, then I will believe in governmenting the people again!

Thank you, thank you very much. Remember to say a prayer, we need a blessing.

Biden Channels Joe Namath, Chicken Little {Politics Daily}

Oct 20th 2008 2:34PM It is absolutely amazing what the McCain supporters are thinking and actually believe to be true. My question is do any of you check what you think to be true. I do, for both sides.

It is tiring to read the sloppy comments from folks who support this party or that party. It is just a lot of bickering back and forth. What did that ever accomplish? Not much in my view. Sgt Friday has said, "Just the facts Maam, just the facts."

The "S" word has been bandied about without cause. If you think that a $700 billion bailout of the banking system is not a socialist item, think again. As Americans, we do what what have to do to move this country along. Of course most of it is out of hands to decide.

Trying to tell this one or that one who is right or who is wrong, you should let them decide. Voting is an indvidual privilege, and should be done based on the truest facts one researches.

Sheez, I respond to much. I am ready to vote.

AOL Straw Poll: Sept. 18-25 {Politics Daily}

Sep 21st 2008 6:25PM I cannot begin to believe that AOL's straw poll is acurate in relation to the polls I see from other sources. Which, by the way, have Big "O" leading. But, then again, this is AOL and it is a straw poll, an informal taking of opinion(s). I would suggest, informally of course, those for McPain reconsider.

AOL Straw Poll: Sept. 18-25 {Politics Daily}

Sep 19th 2008 8:27PM This is for all sides of the aisle...what ever, and i mean ever...happened to "We the People, in order to form a more perfect Union"?

I believe everone inside the beltway has a good idea...lets' feed the gerbels just enough to keep them quiet. go figure

Will a second economic stimulus revive Obama's campaign? {BloggingStocks}

Sep 13th 2008 10:51AM First, I want to respond to those out there who say "Where does Obama plan to get this money?" Well, the same place that George the 2nd did. Secondly, this election is not all about Sarah Palin, or Barack Obama, or John McCain. It is about us and what we want for this country of ours. We ourselves have allowed all of our politicians inside the beltway to get away with destroying the things our forefathers believed in. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Where did those three ingredients go? That is what made our country great at one time. Not now though. Now we have become the world's police man, the hungriest oil consumer, come up with the idea that the powerful in office always win, and that the politicians think that the American people had better succumb to what we, the politicians think we deserve.

We The People, in order to form a more perfect Union....where did that go? This Union is far from perfect nowadays. We the people let it get away. Just let it go. Just had to place our full trust in whomever we voted for.

I say all of the above to say this about a tax stimulus package. Where does any of the money come from to do all the things our beloved politicians enact? We, The People, who actually do want a more perfect Union. Surveys that costs millions, roadways and improvements that cost billions, health care that has become non-existent, trust in government that is falling by the wayside. Huh, go figure that the government works for us. Go ask to have dinner with your local, state, or federal elected official. See where that gets you.

So please, vote your belief and your conscience. I vote not to vote. My right as a registered voter is it not? By doing that, do I succumb to who comes into power and have to live by what they think is right for me by giving me a tax rebate? I say no, I will not.

I am not a McCain or Obama endorser. I do have concerns about either one. John the let's go to war guy, or Obama the raise taxes guy. I do not know who to trust anymore in an office that has almost absolute power.

Obama Speech Reax {Politics Daily}

Aug 29th 2008 7:11AM Dave, Dave, Dave...the truth hurts doesn't it? You stated a typical Republican (Hannety and Limbaugh) comment. and you bring the Clintons into the conversation. Who is running for the Office of President, Obama right? Just like a republican to fetch stuff from the past and attempt to infiltrate that into the general public's thought process. doesn't work for me Dave. Take a chill and relax. Then you might succumb to the idea this country, which is truly great, needs help.

John Daly: the More He Changes, the More He Stays the Same {Fanhouse Golf Blog}

Jan 20th 2008 1:54PM I ahd an opportunity to hear Mr daly chatting with a youngster at the DC area golf tourney a few years back. He was wonderful with that child. He really was inspiring to watch that interaction.

But, John, wake up a smell the fresh air. Drinking is a pitfall that is just as harmful and hurtful as drugs. You almost always have remorse when you sober up after a binge. It all is fun for a time, and, then, time catches up. The body, the friends, the money; they all seem to disappear.

One day at a time John. Call your sponsor.
