The catoon that are on now, don't stand up to the catoons we had in the 60s and probably never will. It's been decided that those were too viiolent, OUR generation was smart enough to know -- "not to ry it at home."

Sep 15th 2010 12:26PM Yup, it is a Problem!! I do NOT go to work to socialize. I go to work and leave. I Never got involved with employees due to the back stabbing and gossipping and besides I don't fit in -- I'm single, slim and trim, not a mom! It is 99.9% moms in the work place (banking) it's a club, if you don't have kids, they don't want anything to do with a single gal. So no references here!!
I am in school and was told, why would you want to do that! They were all moms, going nowhere, they had no interests, just their kids, so no nothing in common in the workplace. I keep my life private and away from work. It's nobodies business what I do away from work!!
If your too chummy with them and they know your not doing anything on your vacation they will Tell you give up those dates so they can go on their vacation. I don't have kids so this pig wanted christmas and new year's -- because she has kids and got hostile with me cause I wouldn't give up new years. I let the pig have christmas with her kids -- I had 20 yrs seniority so I could have taken both weeks but tried to be nice to give her christmas wk with her KIDS. Her sorry excuse was, "I have kids"! because I don't have any, she thought I ws insignificant. so no, I don't make friends in the workplace for any reason.
If you get too close to women in the workplace they become manipulative!
Just like the old addage says, There's a method to their madness. There is a reason for everything they do -- to their advantage!!

women need to start contributing to education. Fathers shouldn't have to bare the weight only. Women need to learn about what it takes to get an education -- there is a lot more to it than enrolling!!

Aug 22nd 2010 5:27PM Artie, lucky for you. I'm 50, still in school for court reporting, my dream job since I was 10 years old. I inherited an autoimmune disease which is keeping me from getting outa school.
my stupid dysfunctional parents Never realized one of us kids were going to get this and education would have been needed AND at an early age.
They made us kids Scared of them so I had no control of my destiny at any time. I only got to get out once a week so no friends, no life, no education, no nothing. Now the father is 83 and doesn't remember how he mistreated us, especially the girls -- he made us Girls cleaning slaves!!
He's ruined my life and doesn't know it and doesn't care. I lost my banking job in 2004 -- this was to help me finish my education. I'm struggling now -- in retail.
I wish I had smart parents that let me have a life AND let me get an education at an early age. I'm struggling because of their stupidity and selfishness.
