Homeowner Robert Phipps Says Neighbor's Solar Panels Are Blinding {AOL Real Estate}

Apr 28th 2013 2:26PM Rather than mirror, wh not install some solar panels where they catch the neighbor's reflected light?
I sympathize with his predicament. I think he should make a homeowner's insurance claim for the loss of value to his home.

'White Only' Pool Sign 'Decorative,' Landlord Claims {AOL Real Estate}

Dec 19th 2011 2:45PM Well, there aren't printed signs that say Black ONly or some-other-group-only, but the concept very much exists. People of every race, unfortunately, practice racism. We are still a very much divided nation. Probably a factor in this economy, at some level.

Sofia Vergara mulls breast reduction? {Celestrellas}

Nov 17th 2011 2:22PM She is very hot, and no, those boobs are not to big. HAlf you guys who called her a skank are just jealous - you'd probably be happy if you could get in line, even the end of the line. HA!

Is My Daughter's Name Too Confusing? {ParentDish}

Dec 18th 2010 1:34PM Quick, change the names. They will work, maybe their life won't be ruined, but many people have been teased and harrassed over their unusual names....it only takes one class clown or bully to get the ball rolling, and it truely can go on for years. Tennagers commit suicide over lesser things than getting teased about their name. And yes, the lifetime of hassle of correcting forms and gender mis-identification is kind of sucky.

Sure, what doesn't kill you MAY make you stronger, but what if it DOES kill you? You can choke on a teaspoon of water.

I just asked my wife(schoolteacher, has taught all elementary grades) - she's had few Kennedys, majority were girls. Never a girl Devin(of any spelling. We are in a racially and culturally diverse area, so I think this is pretty balanced.

Bride Sues Groom for Leaving Her at the Altar -- To the Tune of $95K {Lemondrop}

Dec 16th 2010 12:44PM I saw her picture - kind of hot. But seriously, he let her go and get herself into a big financial hole over something he wasn't serious about. Weddings are stressful to plan, and it is really hard for many people to speak up and derail something like that. So he is a bit of a putz, and she forked out a lot of money on both their behalfs. Seems that splitting the actual costs 50/50(60/40?) would be fair and give both of them a life lesson to reflect on.

Bride Sues Groom for Leaving Her at the Altar -- To the Tune of $95K {Lemondrop}

Dec 16th 2010 9:56AM He needs to man up for at least half - he asked her to marry him, he was there through months of the planning. If a builder spent their time and money ordering materials to build a house for a customer, and the customer decided 4 days before they started, "nah, I don't want you to build it", the customer would get their butt sued off. I am not sure where the $95k number comes from...there was mention of $12,500 she had actually spent. A modest wedding and all that with say 200 people at the reception is hard to pull off for less than $20k these days.

Myself, I paid a lot(10-12k) toward my step daughters wedding and within a year she was sleeping around on her [soon to be ex] husband. Should I sue her?

'Color Identifier' iPhone App Helps Blind to 'See' Colors {Switched}

Sep 27th 2010 5:56PM Animals that have been color blind(monkey) previously, have been being injected with genes that allow them to see colors. Within weeks they figure out which colors indacte better fruit,etc. Maybe the app can use it's color recognition along with shape recognition to identify signs. And a blind person could be taught to combine certain variations of certain colrs to dress better. A blind person might be comforted to know that their choice of dark trousers, white shirt and a color tie should, statistically, look nice together. Or at the grocery store, they might like their app telling them - "this steak looks a little grey around the edges".

I Gave My Boyfriend 'A Night Off' -- With Another Woman {Lemondrop}

Sep 19th 2010 9:28PM It was a flawed idea from the start...alcohol was involved, so they have that as an escape hatch. Besides diseases and unwanted preganancy, fate doesn't make many decisions in life, it is generally people making them. It's like people saysing, "it must have been God's plan" - wrong: people making decisions, forming the elements of the result.

Most people seem to be hard-wired to not want to share the person they share their sex life with. One or both of this couple weren't wired that way or they just failed to acknowledge it. Or they wanted an exit door.

Did Elle Magazine Lighten Gabby Sidibe's Skin? {BV on Style}

Sep 17th 2010 9:29AM They had to have her body fill the entire page, otherwise the white text would have been over a white background and disappearred. Some people would have talked about her body either way, so why worry how much is presented?
