Jan 23rd 2011 3:09PM I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for over twenty years. I’ve always known there would be a day when I would stretch my wings and fly once again into a fulfilling career of my choosing. Today, as I pour over AOL Job’s resource pages and dream of returning to college (at almost fifty years old!) I can’t help but imagine how a great laptop will help me with my education and job search. AOL has a career advice section to direct me before I even set foot outside the door. I quickly pinpointed a program in the Healthcare Industry and an online college via the Education Center. And I read an article on due diligence when signing on the bottom line for a college loan; good information particularly in our current economy.
The new laptop will help me with my classes tremendously; I confess I’ve never had a laptop but I know it’s a must for every college freshman. I’ll be able to get a lot of work done with my new laptop: connect to a wireless network, give presentations, download pictures, and answer email. Once I have my college degree in hand, AOL Jobs will be there for job search advice and support. AOL will guide me in preparing my resume, giving me great tips and examples. I’ll be able to search for jobs targeted to my location and in the healthcare industry. How great is that? And finally, with the help of my new laptop and AOL Jobs I’ve already learned great interview tips and what questions to expect. With a new laptop and the great advice, I’m sure I will secure a great job in a promising new career.

Jan 5th 2010 10:15AM My worst outfit purchased around the holiday was what I thought was a sweater dress outfit. It was unknowingly purchased in the Jrs dept (I'm 46) and it came about 3" above my knee. I also bought what I thought were opaque tights to go with which ended up being "shredded" (very "in" according to sons girlfriend) but very out according to me. The faux distressed leather and wolf vest is sweet though. This is what I get for not paying uch attention when shopping for self around the holidays....I surely didn't want a 17 year old really cool outfit ;-)...atleast not at 46! Been there done that.

Sep 30th 2009 8:00PM Oh, what a glorious machine! I would give this beauty to my son who is a Genetics Major at Rutgers University (go Knights!). He's an Editor on The Targum daily newspaper and their computers work overtime so he would really appreciate this. It would be put to very good use to further the minds of a growing generation.
