If it inspires you to get into shape in a new way..then all the better for it. Sometimes yoga and step aerobics are not inspiring for everyone. Jan 17th 2011 4:30PM I also just started with my own backyard chickens last year. Sure, it can cost a bit to start up, but the reward is awesome. I get fresh eggs every day and I KNOW what goes into them. Chickens are curious and interesting. I highly recommend raising your own if you have the space and zoning.

Dec 1st 2010 11:23AM Bill Cosby had a huge influence on my life growing up also. I grew up poor in a dysfunctional setting. He gave me hope through his TV show "the Cosby Show" that there was a "normal" out there, and you could be whatever you wanted when you grew up if only you were willing to work hard. Yeah, it was a script, but he made it very believable to a kid. I live a successful and happy life right now. Thanks Bill!!! (and books)

She ought to lay off the Palins and try doing something worthwhile with her life instead of just criticizing others. Take a lesson or two from her Dad, maybe. I bet there wee a lot of people out there who didn't vote. Nature of the beast. She just ended up sounding bitter.

Aug 5th 2010 9:36PM whoahhh!!! there is a BIG difference between veneers for teeth and Botox, liposuction or breast augmentation! If someone wants to get their teeth fixed...good on them! All the rest are dangerous and most likely vain. What parent would let a CHILD undergo those procedures? Talk about child endangerment! Hollywood Hype has gone off the deep end and I think it is time we re-educate our girls on what is valuable.
