What Would You Do to Lose Weight? {AOL Video Blog}
Jan 3rd 2008 7:45PM I have enjoyed average weight most of my life. It's wonderful being able to go to a store, try something on, look good in it, feel comfortable in it and buy it. I am now menopausal and quit smoking 7 months ago. Since I quit smoking I have gained 18 lbs!!!! I look and feel horrible in my opinion. I know what works...WW and working out daily...do I do it? No. Why? Because I am lazy. Do I feel good about myself? Absolutely NOT!!!! I don't know where my motivation to be slim and trim went. I am now very unhappy with myself and it's all due to my weight. Nothing else in my life has changed...I basically have a very good life. Weight DOES matter. Being of normal size DOES make a difference! I know that one day soon I will get back up off my lazy, complaining butt and do the right thing....workout and diet. It's amazing how much better I feel when I am in that mode.

May 16th 2007 4:49PM Oh the poor girl. I'm sure she has kicked herself a thousand or more times! She was on national tv...I'm sure the excitement and nervousness took hold and made her mind go totally blank. I feel bad she did not win...don't call her stupid or dumb...she is neither. We never know how our bodies or mind will react under extreme stress. This was just a good example of game show thrills that went wrong for the contestent. How sad is that? But please, stop kicking her while she is down!

May 10th 2007 7:15PM I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO tired of hearing "we can't help what we are!" NONSENSE!!!!!!!!!!! Stick to 1500 calories, daily, with regular exercise(feel the burn) and EVERYH\ONE has the capability of reducing! It's the LAZY people out there that wine, "we can't help being heavy....it's in our genes!" Put the ice creme, cake, chips, fast food down for a year and I'll guarantee you'll look different!!!!

May 10th 2007 7:02PM come on....being thin, not anorexic, is the healthiest way to be! Let's face reality...heavy people have WAY many more health issues. People should eat normal diets and exercise 4-5 times a week. We're making lots of excuses these days for the rampent obesity in our country. I'm not saying we should ostracize heavy people but let's not let it get to a total acceptance level. It's UNHEALTHY! Plain and simple! I like wearing trendy and classical clothing....who looks better? The person of normal/average weight, no matter how you slice it! I'd much rather be too thin than too fat!
