Calling All Cognac Experts, Answer This Question {Luxist}

Sep 8th 2009 8:27AM This is one of the top-of-the-line products from CAMUS. It is a blend of eaux-de-vie initially created by the third generation of the House of Camus, Michel, for his own consumption.

After his passing in 1985, his son Jean-Paul decided to commemorate Michel's achievements by releasing a few baccarat decanters each year, containing the same blend as the one his father so liked to drink and share with his friends.

Michel Camus Royale, as this product is called, is still available in a very limited number of outlets around the world, more specifically in Duty-Free shops at key international airports.

Its current retail value is around USD 2,000 (duty-free).

It does carry, with each bottle, an invitation to visit us in Cognac, including dinner and cognac (!) at our Chateau.

I hope this is the kind of information you were looking for.

Best Regards,
Cyril Camus
President
CAMUS "La Grande Marque" S.A.
