Nov 18th 2009 5:50PM I am by no means an Obama supporter. However, I think what Obama has learned that you can't just go green overnight. More than half the jobs in the US are petroleum related. They are some of the highest paying jobs.
Therefore, to tamper with the existing policies would kill many thousands of jobs and take 20 years to bring back as enviromental jobs. So I give Obama some praise for braving the rift from his own party to keep the finacial system in check. This economy is close to calapse.

Nov 11th 2009 5:43PM Tom Cruise would best serve to keep playing in High tech type movies. I just don't see him as a western character. He was just OK in Ever After.
However, I do think Travolta Could pull it off. He would really have to do a better job with the accent then he did in Urban Cowboy.
I wish though they could make a new western. There are many good western books out there.
In this case Both actors might have there own legendary western movie to look back on.
