Luxury RV Has Slideout Garage {Luxist}

Sep 3rd 2006 9:41AM I like the idea of the car under the RV.it would avoid some problems with tight corners in the RV park, etc. But the side slide out is a problem for me. At the campgrounds which I have gone to: VA, ME, PA ,NY ,there never is enought slide clearance at the site for my slideouts let alone to get a car out from the side. I like the idea but have some concerns on how practical it might be in general.
As far as the gas mileage is concerned, that car will add significant weight and with the gas prices these days, it would put it out of real reach for a lot of people, except for the very well off.
