Johnny Weir 'Loves Wearing Dead Animals,' Calls Animal Rights Activists 'Crazy Fur People' {Stylelist (Main)}

Feb 18th 2010 7:16PM Whoaah!!! Hold it everyone! first of all..... the only correct (completely) statement I've seen made here is that (most) of the PETA folk are nuts! This is true. And to you PETA people.... there are so many other good ways to get your point across. Instead, you harass people to the point that they hate you all! No animal should ever suffer! And anyone who makes or lets any animal suffer should be held accountable. It's just not right and should never be tolerated by anyone! It is the responsibility of all of us to see to it it does not happen!
Now, if the fur worn by anyone is harvested in a humane manner than there should be no problems since I believe that God gave us all these creatures for our benefit. Afterall, how many pairs of shoes in the closets of the PETA people have leather or the belts they wear, and they've never owned a thing not made from some part of an animal????? C'mon people, find a better way to help these animals not suffer and to benefit us as God intended! Why are we picking on Johnny? What makes you all think that he may not have made use of a vintage piece of fur? We don't know. But threatening his personal safety is in no way a good way to get your point across or help any part of your cause. I believe it's even worse because you are doing just as much wrong as torturing an animal! Someone made a comment about faux fur and why it's so soft.... thank Fido was I believe their comment. Well understand that people in different parts of the world and of different cultures do things that many of us just find horrible. To them it is the right thing to do..... we all need to have more understanding of the fact that people are different the world over. You want to make this a better world? Then start at ground zero. That means with yourself!

Sadie the Scottish Terrier Wins Best in Show at 134th Westminster Dog Show {Pawnation OLD}

Feb 17th 2010 8:27PM To Shar:
I have not had the problem of unsold dogs but should that ever happen, these dogs have forever homes right here in my house with me in my bed, on my couch, under my feet, anywhere that they are happy! Something that one should consider before breeding! I also have friends that would always love to have one should I decide to ever give one as a gift!

Sadie the Scottish Terrier Wins Best in Show at 134th Westminster Dog Show {Pawnation OLD}

Feb 17th 2010 11:58AM Kudos to Sadie. For those of you who do not understand the "sport" of dog shows: You need to take a look again with an open mind. You can clearly see that these dogs are in their element. They live for this and again, when someone does not understand something they automatically take to the negative side of it! And we all wonder why our world is the way it is? GEEEZZZ!!!! Should be no trouble understanding why!
There are always going to be people who will buy a purebed as opposed to a shelter dog because they know what they are getting. Most people that buy purebred dogs also do their share of helping out the shelter population in some way. I don't see those spouting off helping out other than to run their mouths and/or do damage in some way like throwing paint or interrupting a prestigeous dog show. How many "mutts" do they have living the good life in their homes?
I currently have a two litters of French Bulldogs for sale. Yes, I bred my dogs!!! I've produced 5 pups that will go to good homes where they are wanted and the owners know what they are getting. I wish it had been the Frenchie that won the show but hey! For the first time a Frenchie got into the Best of Show group and that is great! Sadie just was the right dog last night. for those of you who are ignorant to these dog shows..... realize how much money is made to help with the unwanted dogs as a direct result of these shows! So Kudos to the Dog Shows! And to hell with you idiots who can't see the forest for the trees! Educate yourselves before you put your mouths in gear. You really look stupid!
And anyone looking for a brindle Frenchie..... you can e-mail me at steviesplittail@aol

Former Couple Has Custody Battle Over Pet Pug {Pawnation OLD}

Aug 4th 2009 12:32AM How sad! The person who is best able to care for the dog should have the dog. The person who doesn't travel for work. The one who doesn't go on weekend getaways and such! And that person must be able to financially care for the dog as well. That being said...... the looser should do as another poster stated.... RESCUE A PUG! There are plenty of them out there! However, if the dog was a gift, regardless of which checking account the vet bills came out of, A GIFT IS A GIFT! I'm sure bills vet, electric, phone, cable, groceries and so on (WHO PICKED UP AND PAID FOR THE DRY CEANING?)came from both from time to time and over time. It really sounds like someone is being mean and because they paid for the dog are going to take it back to be cruel! I go back to ....A GIFT IS A GIFT!!! RESCUE A PUG IN NEED! With the economy as is, you might possibly even get papers with the dog you rescue!!!

Michael Vick Conditionally Reinstated, Could Play by Week 6 {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Jul 29th 2009 4:15AM This makes me want to PUKE!!! the signal is clear. You do wrong, use your wealth and connections, get off with minimal reprocutions and all is forgotten! Business as usual. This is so wrong on so many levels I can't begins to express them all! Michael Vick had it all! And it wasn't good enough. He had to become involved in something so cruel as this? There were so many other things he could have done as a "hobby". If for no other reason than for the sake of the kids..... he needs to be banned forever from the NFL for life. Let our kids see that you can't do these things and then get off with minimal punishments and then be rewarded with what you crapped all over! Yes he deserves a second (or third or fourth or fif...th How many??) chance but he is out of jail. that is a second chance in and of itself. Get a job like the common folk! To be accepted back into the NFL should just NOT be an option.
And I liked the idea of him scooping dog poo! That is what he deserves! Of course he should not be allowed to pet the dogs and he should never ever be allowed to own another dog in his life or any other animal for that matter!!! I hate his friggin guts for what he did!
And I will be writing to Roger Goodell to tell him what I think too!
I for one hopes he dies a slow painful electrical shocking death! To hell with Mike Vick! And the NFL if he plays again!

Felony Franks Causing a Red-Hot Controversy in Chicago {Slashfood}

Jul 25th 2009 8:19PM I agree with all the good things said about this new food establishment! But those that want to continue to punish someone over and over again and want to keep them out of meaningful employment I guess I hope it would be your house that got robbed then maybe you would open your eyes up to putting the past to rest and opening the door to help those to a complete recovery. Now I understand that saying I hope your house gets robbed is wrong but it is the way things go when someone like you wants to continue to punish someone for a bad choice that they have paid for. Is it really hard to understand that it may have been you who "got caught" at a dumb move which I'm sure most of us have all made once in our lives! Is this where we should say WWJD? Well all those opposed to this great idea, I don't suppose you have even overdrawn your checkbook just once? Which, remember, is illegal!

Martha Stewart Says Good-bye to Mozart the Cat {Pawnation OLD}

Jun 19th 2009 2:24AM You are just the kind of person I'd choose for a friend! Your words were kind and I am sorry for your loss as well. I put a 15 year old rescue down in August last year and my hubby lost his beloved Golden Retriever 2 years ago. You know the phrase, never again! We are the proud parents of a new French Bulldog that we spoil ridiculously but would have it no other way! Recently Fran Drescher was on Bonnie Hunt Show with her Pom who was too cute and she said how she grieved when she lost her last pet and wondered why God took them so soon (pets have short lives compared to us humans) but she finally came to this conclusion and I want to share it with you. God allows us the ability to care for another when one departs us! I'm sure your two new Dane pups are loving life with you! How lucky they are and how lucky we all are that God gives them to us!

Kate Gosselin to Release Cookbook - But Are the Recipes Really Hers? {ParentDish}

May 28th 2009 10:00PM Pleeeeeeeeeeeease! Kate treats Jon like crap! I feel for him. He gave up his real job to stay home with his kids so Kate could/can do what she wants! It's all about Kate! In the season opener Kate said that everything she does she does for the kids. Including breathe! So where is she? Smiling for the papparatzi with her bodyguard in some airport! But here's the kicker. I just read where she thinks she is the mastermind of all this (which may be true) therefore Jon should not be allowed to reap the profits. She wants it all including the new house. Seems to me that Jon is the primary caretaker and today the courts look at this very hard. So what if he has help. Kate would have help if the shoes were traded. Jon quit his job to allow Kate to do what she wanted. She is sadly mistaken if she thinks that he is not entitled to half of everything she made. It's been a team effort and she needs to remember this, it's what THEY made! .And she wants the house, well if he were to get the children they would more than likely let him remain in the home with the children and she may find herself paying child support! She could continue being flippant with her goofy hairstyle and bodyguard and grinning for the papparatzi in her new clothes across the country in the airports! People please! Don't overlook the obvious which is right in front of our noses! She is verbally abusive to him and frankly she makes it look really bad for the rest of us women. I'm embarrased for what she makes women look like!
Not once did I hear her say he makes her list anywhere and spouses are suppose to put each other first (other than an emergency), when you put each other first, everything falls into place and that is what is in the best interest for the children. If she were to watch herself honestly would she want to see her children treat thier spouses as she treats her husband? I would hope to God not. Kate is not a good role model for any child to learn kindness and consideration. Two of the basics! I'm a woman and I'm voting for Jon. If the marriage goes down, I hope he takes her to the cleaners! I hope he gets the kids, the house, child support and alimony!

Are you as curious about Dick Clark as I am? {AOL TV}

Dec 27th 2005 5:40PM I believe the "world's old teenager" stems from when Dick Clark started in Bandstand how. The show was on for years and Dick never seemed to age. It was said that he looked like a high school senior. Years and years later it was said he looked like a college senior! Whatever, I will always think of Dick Clark when the Ball falls in Times Square. Myself and my friends and family cut the rug up dancing along with the Bandstand regulars and I wish him well and do hope that his recovery has been good and he is not made into a sick joke this year. To all out there: what works for one person in rocovery doesn't apply to all!
