Rosie O'Donnell Defends Joy and Whoopi: Bill O'Reilly 'Incites Hatred' {PopEater}

Oct 17th 2010 3:41PM I saw last week's show. First, I don't believe that a mosque should be build near there, unless you are going to put up a church (and there is a church that is trying to be rebuilt there damaged by the attacks I think St. Elizabeth's) a temple, some Buddist prayer flags, a shinto shrine, a wiccan pentacle, etc..
There should be a quiet place for everyone of every religion or not to sit and reflect -- period. You can tell the Iman that NJ is a river away. Second, Bill was only standing up for what he believes in, as Joy and Whoppi were voicing their opinions.
Walking away, is childish. It shows immaturity -- You should never back down from a fight, unless you feel you don't have the ability to challenge the brain trust of the opponent. Bill was Bill, nothing more. Whoppi I am surprised about, Joy well not surprised at all. Barbara should have moderated a little better so it did not get to the heated point it did.

Bank of America Hiring 1000: Other Banks Could Follow {AOL Jobs}

Oct 17th 2010 2:36PM Oh God have mercy on US -- what is Bank of american gonna do now, trash the small business sector too -- PEOPLE if you have learned anything from this last experience do not bank with this bank. Go to your Small Bus Administration, go to you state and local rep's first. Do not use a bank.
There are alot of alternatives. My husband had a small business, and we never ever used a big bank. We had a very small line of credit from a very local bank in town. If you need further proof, go to living lies website, foreclosure hamlet, or just do yourself a big favor and google Bank of American and see pages of complaints.

LIVE: Mortgage Markets Face 'Fundamental Change,' Geithner Says {Housingwatch}

Aug 18th 2010 10:25AM The government keeps taking and taking -- now it seems the American dream is under attack. Should have let the banks tank. The banks are the ones that bankrupted Fannie and Freddie not the US homeowner.

Yes, Fannie and Freddie need to be overhauled, but not by Geitner.
Geitner needs to be fired. Period.

Fannie and Freddie: Duped by Big Banks? {Housingwatch}

Jul 18th 2010 8:56AM You betcha, I have the government's documentation. I originally had a note with Norwest Mortgage and about 2005 Wells Fargo took
over. In 2009 Wells tried selling it to Edward Jones. Beleive it or not it was my insurance agent who received a fax that tipped us off.
Alerted Barney Frank and Paul Kanjorski, the OCC, nothing was done.
The OCC has sent Wells Fargo 3 requests to answer with NO reply.
HOwever, I am due in court on August 6, 2010 as now is trying to foreclose on me. Can I do like the banks and hold out as long as I can. NO -- The government better make due on enforcing the law after using US taxpayer's money to bail out these scumbag GANGSTERS.
Our economy is in the dumper cause the big banks and Wall Street gambled away our futures -- How is it the our US money is no longer dependent on the US Tresury but now Wall Street Thanks TIMBO Geitner
and Washington. Get us back on the Gold system.

Unemployed Need Not Apply {AOL Jobs}

Jul 8th 2010 5:40PM If you give an employed person a job, then another position opens up to fill the person leaving. Unfortunately, these ship jumpers will jump your ship soon too for another better paying job up the ladder they go. The unemployed will stay put cause they are happy to just have a job. Alot of talent is being wasted -- shamefull, just shamefull.

I Was Downsized... Now What? {AOL Jobs}

Jun 26th 2010 10:41AM Kim, you too were let go for a reason at the Telecommunications company in Chicago. You hypocrite. I have a right to value myself, I have a right to know that big corporations play stupid games, and have a need to protect myself from unfair hiring practices that are against my core character and US law. No wonder your in HR -- those who can't -- STAFF.

Company Drug Testing and Background Checks: What to Expect When Hired for a New Job {AOL Jobs}

Jun 20th 2010 5:42PM This testing crap has got to be stopped. First it's only for Social Security carrying American citizens. The reason business hire illegals is because illegals don't get tested.
Testing is getting expensive, It's all about the money - a cheap urine sample is $25 - $75/sample, background check starts at $35.00 depending how intrusive/informative you get, and a credit check is about $100.00/one. That's why business/corporations are only hiring employed people now, those employed people have already been tested.

What NOT To Say In a Job Interview {AOL Healthy Living}

Jun 10th 2010 1:54PM I would really enjoy an article about how a job seeker can avoid some of these pitfalls. First, employers are now Phishing, that's right, there is such a glut of available employees, the hiring manager can afford to look for better qualified employees and pay them dirt. In the last two weeks, I've enountered 2 companies that are looking for applicants for future opportunities. Aren't hiring just yet.
what a waste of time!!! Second, employers who look legit, but when you get to the second or even third interview, orientation the catch you have to pay for your own credit check, your own physical, pay for your own training.
How do you avoid that pitfall.
It's really rough out there any suggestions to weed out the time wasters. Unemployed peope don't have much time to waste in the first place.

HAMP Offers New Hope for Borrowers {Housingwatch}

May 29th 2010 7:22PM I too, was given the run-around by Wells fargo, not only did they never check my income, my payments doubled, not go down as Wells originally promised they would. I have the emails from the loan speicalist. I wish there was a way to get rid of the servicers who are screwing this up. The middle man servicing banks are taking our tax monies and in return for our hard earned dollars are now taking our houses. Washington should take HAMP away from the banks and let the borrowers of fannie and freddie do HAMP without the banks.

Sestak Beats Specter in Pa. Senate Primary, Paul Wins in Kentucky {Politics Daily}

May 19th 2010 7:18AM I live in PA and this sends a clear message, that if you work for US the American people and you will be re-elected, you do not work for your self interests. Sestack going against Toomey? No, I don't think that's the race, their is a dark horse from the TEA Party that is going to go against Joe S. That's going to be the race to watch. Toomey has already been in the Congress and he was ousted by Casey.
Wake up America Politics US have had enough, enough of the Banks stealing our homes and Jobs, enough of Big Corps polluting our ground, air, and sea. Enough of the double talk and lies, doesn't matter if you are a donkey or elephant, get working for US or get out of office. The choice is yours, Change is here!!! Whether you like it or NOT. I don't care about YOUR self interests. Oh and if you call the WH and get the switch board operator she is not a nice or pleasent in any way, Customer Service is a joke, and I am paying for her salary, she should be ousted too!!!
