Jan 7th 2010 9:04PM When the Obamas go on personal vacations, they pay for that themselves. However, it does cost us a great deal of money because we pay for the entourage they take with them! I understand the Secret Service people, but DO NOT understand any personal assistants for the First Lady; they should be left in D.C. I also don't think any cooks or 'maids' or any people like that should be going along. The Obamas can hire those services in Hawaii. I also hope their 'friends' pay for their own trips there as well.
