Dec 19th 2010 5:58PM A relative of mine was interviewed at a Superior Grocery store in So Cal recently. This store is in competition with Carneceria Viarta. She was told she would be required to take a drive at her own expense to a distant location for 'training.' Although there was no promise of a job or the possiblity of being hired. If the 'training' takes place at another store, it sounds to me like a way of getting 'free' labor.

Its survival of the fittest and the rich are winning. We work for the rich for a meager wage while the rich pocket the biggest $ bills. Thats reality. We need the rich to employ us, but 'they' don't need us to do the work. Every worker is "very" replaceable.

The word 'civil' means 'forced politeness.' But there are other ways people can be uncivil without physical violence. An example? Economic regulation. Over-taxation!!!! A way of controlling the quality of our lives, and improving the lifestyles of those who haven't earned it.
