Will Smith & Hawken Be Liquidated? {Luxist}

Jul 14th 2009 3:59PM I was very disheartened to see that Smith & Hawken is closing it's doors after 30 years of wonderful service. This was always a great landing place for me as I was searching for the right outdoor products for my home as well as a great referral source for family and friends.

What's even worse is we're now seeing one more American company close it's doors and hard working Americans will now be on the hunt for jobs that still seem to be few and far between.

On the flip side of this, I've been crawling through the internet to find a site that offers similar items and stumbled across a company called Outdora. I was really jazzed to find that they carrier Corinthian Bells wind chimes as I've become a huge fan and what was even better, they were cheaper then what I'm used to at S & H and they came with free shipping.

For any of you out there looking for an alternative site like I was, please do visit http://www.outdora.com/ . Nobody can take the place of Smith and Hawken but at least there's an alternative out there that can help us stay away from those huge chain stores.
