Both are full of rich, greedy politicians that don't give a damn about the people that they are supposed to represent. I vote for the person now, not the party. That's one reason that I am all for "open primaries."

May 23rd 2010 2:53PM If you think that you still live in a "free country" under Comrade Obama's regime, you are either stupid or at the very least, naive. Are we freer than most ? Yes. But truly free? No. We are becoming the USSA, United Socialist States of America. I keep waiting for Obama to "change" our flag by replacing the stars on our flag, with the "hammer and sickle." I knew I lived in the "People's Republic of California", a socialist government, but now the rest of the country seems to be following suit. How sad. Under Obama we are going from a democratic republic to a socialist republic. Let's hope things turn around before it's too late for us. We DO NOT want to become another European Union.

I've got nothing against Hispanics that are in this country LEGALLY, either a citizen or a LEGAL resident. Otherwise, no welfare for you. No free medical care for you. May 14th 2010 1:54AM Here in "Mexifornia" we need to legalize marijuana and tax the bejesus out of it. We need the revenue badly for all of the social programs for the illegal aliens in this state. Keep the rest of the dope such as; crank, crack, meth, PCP, LSD, coke, heroin, etc. illegal. Treat pot like alcohol. Have a minimum age to possess/use it, and there are already laws on the books against driving under-the-influence of pot, or being so stoned in public, that you are a danger to yourself or others. It's a sad state of affairs, but that's how bad things have gotten.
