I too was thinking that the changes to the house had gone at least an update too far...
That's why I wondered if it was used as a sporting club...personally, I'd love an indoor pistol range and a couple of miles of the James River bank, but I am unsure as to my need for a softball staduim...

Sometimes I have to wonder why people who don't seem to really like/have/aspire to luxury bother with this site...the name of the site says it all...being critical is one thing, being a constant hater has long since become boring...please go elsewhere to complain about rich people having things you don't...there you will find like-minded whiners...you will feel right at home...

A great number of the houses in the Hamptons look like they are from suburbia...and not at all like beach houses...many look like the NYC apartments the owners leave for the summer...i.e., extremely decorated and fancy...
BTW: I live (part of the time) in 20008.
