If only the younger generation realized that the musicians they think are so great today, are nothing to these guys. They are the ones who created all the beats and rythyms that they listen to and enjoy in todays' heartless music.

Feb 14th 2011 11:28AM F-U Lemieux!!! Bring fighting back It's what the paying customers want! There are 3 things that will make this sport great again. 1) No sport, in sports needs contraction more than the NHL. 8 to 10 teams shld be eliminated. Then you get rid of all the lowsy players and load up every team with the best players. I'd even expand the roster a little. Say 2 more players a team. 2) More room. Bring in the European ice surface dimensions. That will make a lot more room for those talented players to make EXCITING moves and plays. It will also be great for 4 on 4's and OT. 3) LET THEM FIGHT! Ask anyone old enough and they will tell you the best era for hockey was the period between 1965-1980. That's when teams had bigtime grudge matches and EVERYONE LOVED watching it. Those big rivalry days were what people reminese most about. Think about it...Bobby Orr and the Big Bad Bruins. The Broad St. Bullies. The Montreal Canadiens powerhouse teams. Remember the rivalries back them? How bout Bobby Orr and Keith Magnuson? How bout...Clear the track, here comes the Shack? Dr. David Shultz? I mean I cld go on and on. THose were the days. BRING THEM BACK! Back then the league didn't protect the players, the other players on the team protected eachother! So you bring back those old days, coupled with some good solid rules and a bigger Ice surface, along with contraction and you have a game EVERYONE WILL TUNE IN FOR.
