Flop of 2006: Chrysler dealers cry all the way to the sales bank {Autoblog}

Jan 2nd 2007 8:54PM Still the best US car company. No. 1 US car company in Japan - the significant quantity of Chrysler/ Dodges on Japanese roads speaks to this.

Mystery JDM car caught in downtown LA {Autoblog}

Dec 18th 2006 1:13AM It's the new Honda HR-V. Look at the rear end lights.

Probably on a photo or TV-ad shoot. The first rendition is at http://www.honda.co.jp/auto-lineup/hr-v/2006/index.html

Samuel L. Jackson Gets A Maybach {Luxist}

Dec 11th 2006 4:25AM Why anyone would want a Maybach is beyond me. My dear, it looks like a giant Hyundai. Let's hope Samuel wakes up and changes to a Phantom (three times the sales of a Hyudai, er I mean a Maybach).

Nissan introduces 12th generation Skyline {Autoblog}

Nov 21st 2006 12:45AM This 'new' Skyline is nothing like the Skylines of the past, and doesn't even qualify to bear such an exalted name. Granted, the Skylines of old weren't necessarily well-designed, but they did epitomize Nissan zeitgeist, and the fact that the last two Skylines have been signecd off on bears witness to thje fact that Carlos has absolutely zero knowlegde of what this zeitgeist is. Bring back the Skylines of old, Carlos, and throw away these ghastly Laurel substitutes INCLUDING the forthcmoing 'GT-R'.

Paris Motor Show: Mitsubishi Pajero premiere {Autoblog}

Sep 29th 2006 3:33AM "Despite the financial difficulties of the company, however, I find it unacceptable that we have waited for what feels like a decade for essentially a facelifted version of an already dated design". That's it in a nutshell. As a former (2nd model - still the best version)Pajero owner, I am lost for words. This car in its newest rendition is perhaps ten years behind the current Range Rover/ Discovery - cars it had set out to emulate. It's even behind the Landcruiser Prado (Lexus in the US), which I now own. Unbelievable.
