Marshall Faulk, Deion Sanders Lead 7-Man 2011 Hall of Fame Class {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Feb 6th 2011 2:58PM It would be interesting to know how old you are and if that has any influence on how you view Ed Sabol. I'm 50 years old and he had a huge impact on my love of football, especially when I was growing up. It's harder to appreciate Ed Sabol if you didn't grow up in the days before ESPN and their 24 hours a day of highlights. In the days before cable TV, NFL Films was our lifeline to a lot of the football we saw. I remember anxiously awaiting halftime of the Monday Night game and Howard Cosell narrating my first, and sometimes my only highlights for that week.
I love hearing the classic music that accompanied each teams highlights. They didn't use videotape, they made films. Cutting edge technology was created. NFL Films were pioneers in the genre of reality television. Yes, Ed Sabol was very deserving of induction into the football Hall of Fame.

Feb 6th 2011 2:36AM I'd like to see Jerry Kramer voted into the Hall of Fame instead of Deion. Comparing those two, Kramer was the epitome of a football player. Sanders had some great skills, but he was mostly a self-promoting showman with poor tackling skills.
UFC 126 Live Blog: Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort Updates {MMA Fighting}
Feb 6th 2011 1:13AM Belfort said Silva was reacting to a comment he made this week. Belfort suggested that Silva puts on a facade in public and in the cage.
"I just know one thing, when you say silly things, when you do silly things, it%u2019s because you%u2019re worried and you%u2019re trying to wear a mask," Belfort said during Thursday%u2019s media workouts. "The way I fight, and the way I am, I have respect. I just need to wear one mask, myself."
Bubba Watson Edges Phil Mickelson to Win at Torrey Pines {Fanhouse Golf Blog}
Jan 31st 2011 2:34AM That was interesting seeing Mickelson's caddy tending the flag for a 72 yard wedge shot from the fairway. The wind was blowing just enough to make the flagstick bend toward the direction the ball was coming from when it spun back. There were slim odds of making the shot, might as well do everything you can to make it. Stranger things have happened.

Jan 12th 2011 5:24AM Penny auctions are a rip off. It will cost you $1 for every bid you make. Every time someone adds a penny to the auction, the company makes a dollar. IT'S A SCAM!!!!

Dec 28th 2010 3:41PM She'll probably be putting in a big swimming pool first. Then maybe a barbecue island, some grass and playground equipment, extend the covered patio. I imagine it will be really nice when they finish their upgrades.
Eight-Year-Old Jets Fan Reportedly Tackled at Game By Adult Browns Fan {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Nov 17th 2010 6:29PM I have season tickets with an NFL team, Cleveland isn't the only city with lousy fans. Every team has a few guys that are jerks showing up at the stadium, but there's a few teams that have more than their share of losers.
Oakland, Dallas, Minnesota, Green Bay, and most of the teams on the east coast lead the way. They're usually young men in their 20's and tend to come out of the closet only when their team is winning. On second thought, 95% of Raider fans have "issues". Those miscreants come in all shapes, sizes and ages. Mostly mexicans though and predominantly bandwagon fans.
Meats that Save You Money {Kitchen Daily}
Aug 25th 2010 7:00PM I like to go shopping on Saturday mornings and ask the guys in the meat department what kind of deal they can give me on meat that's approaching it's "sell by date". I get some real nice cuts for 30-70 percent off. All you have to do is ask.
Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag Divorce Moving Forward {PopEater}
Aug 20th 2010 7:36PM But it's such a shame that these two didn't conceive a child before they split up. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to get past our disappointment.
