Dec 21st 2012 8:48AM Assault Rifles for private citizens cannot be legally purchased. Criminals and weirdos can always find a way to purchase them. Other fire arms is a constitutional right to bear arms amendment. Australia took private guns and crime skyrocketed. China murders and slashes people with knives. Personal Explosive devices[ap] are available to any one who has that mind set. So if you ban firearms, why not ban knives, and explosive devices. We can gnaw our meat and food products without a knife. WE can close windows and turn on the gas. We can hook a hose to the exhaust, we can get drunk and kill so if we must ban guns, we must ban other alcohol, drugs, knives, natural gas and other means of slaughter.

Why Did TSA Pat Down Kids, Adults Getting Off Train? {AOL Travel News}

Mar 1st 2011 8:02AM This is an unnecessary agency whether it's at Amtrak, Bus or Airlines. This is the same crap that Hitler pulled. This is unlawful search and seizure. We do not need the TSA.

Charlie Sheen to CBS: 'We're at War' {PopEater}

Feb 28th 2011 11:00AM Egotist, Definition: Charlie Sheen. People should not even watch the reruns of this show. The last time I or my family watched the show I think was one episode in season 2. We got tired of his bed hopping inuendo's and the fact that a lot of sexual content was while a young boy was allowed to be part of the show. The show should have been taken off the air long ago. Stop watching and it will go away.......

Best Cheating Songs: No. 2 {The Boot}

Feb 16th 2011 11:01AM OH I forgot to add one cheating song that should have made the cut was, "Cold Cold Heart". "How can I free your doubtful mind and melt your cold cold heart. I don't remember the artist but I believe Ray Charles had a good rendition of this song.

Best Cheating Songs: No. 2 {The Boot}

Feb 16th 2011 10:59AM Hank may not have been the sharpest knife in the drawer but when a person writes about him being dumb, they might check their spelling and grammar before they put it on paper. Now, that said, Hank was a good country artist and left this world much too soon. Blame it on himself, yes, but his music is still OK, in my books.

As Jerry Sloan Exits Too Early, Deron Williams Better Know What He'll Miss {Fanhouse NBA Blog}

Feb 11th 2011 8:44AM Jerry, go easy and enjoy your retirement. You're a classy guy and a real basketball player/coach. Thank you for your service. Basketball today is not basketball and these spoiled back alley punks who don't play the sport as it was meant to be played. Ram and Jam, Cry and Whine, million dollar selfish individuals have ruined the game. Thanks Jerry for the kind of basketball that Johh Wooden taught a UCLA and the Coach at Duke (Can't spell his name). The players that played for them were basketball players. You Sir are a classy guy and have nothing to be ashamed of.

Time to Turn Off National Anthem Before Sports Events {Fanhouse - Kevin Blackistone}

Feb 9th 2011 9:03AM Well, Well, Well. Censorship in action. AOL has been my provider for about 15 years but that is about to change. This is my second post and the first did not get posted. Email me and I'll explain why I think it was scratched. Now as to Blackstone. He is mis informed and intellectually unsure of why we sing, or perform the Anthem. It is our Song, Just as OH Canada is Cananda's song and most recently the Irish Anthem sung by Celtic Thunder called "Ireland". Mr. Blacstone needs to be fired or made to attend the reinactment at Fort McHenry in Maryland on July 4th. There he will get the education he is so lacking. Huffington Post and AOL has lost all credibility and it will be a task to change, but it's in the works.

Time to Turn Off National Anthem Before Sports Events {Fanhouse - Kevin Blackistone}

Feb 9th 2011 8:54AM Bob you said it well, and I agree with the posts. The writer sounds like he-she may be a speech writer for the current occupant of the White House who neither salutes our Ensign nor does he sing the National Anthem. He needs to visit Fort McHenry in Maryland on the July Fourth celebration there to grasp the full meaning of this nation hymn. True, it's a difficult piece to sing, but it's our SONG. Do it right or don't do it at all. Most of the so called celebrities who try, emphasize TRY, are paid big bucks [usually] to discredit our Anthem. Stop glorifying these egoists and bring in some real musicians or a Marching Band to play the Anthem the way it's supposed to be played and let the stands respond by singing it themselves. The writer of this articlee needs to go some where else....

Joan Rivers Reams Christina Aguilera Over Star-Mangled Banner {PopEater}

Feb 8th 2011 7:38AM OK, there is no excuse for a so called celebrity of Christines station in life (ha) for her to flub the National Anthem. Was it un patriotic, I don't think that was the intent but she was horrible not only in the flub but in the screaming and yelling. She was not singing. I agree with one writer that even if sung as written and with no flubbed words, it's a difficult piece to sing. What angered me most was the way she performed it. Maybe if she'd just stand there and sing, really sing and not try to emote the music to death, she may not have forgotten words. One writer tried to excuse the flub by saying this; "who knows what ramparts are anyway". Well, read your history books or visit Fort McHenry in Maryland for a demonstration of the historical even that Francis Scott Key witnessed when he penned the words, "O'er the Ramparts we Watched, Were so gallantly streaming." There's more to the Anthem than just a difficult piece of music. It's our history and the super bowl isn't. Let's get back to the basics. OK?
