Little Luxuries for Dorms {Luxist}

Aug 18th 2006 4:08PM Why do we always have to assume that young adults/high school/college students these days need, or even want, overly priced items? A $190 robe for college??? Are you crazy??? Why can't we show them that you can have the same look for a whole lot less money? This additude of making the best of what you have will take them a lot further than always thinking they have to have everything new and bigger. Let's show them how to shop clearance racks/sales, garage sales and 2nd hand stores.
And we wonder why bankruptcies have sky-rocketed? Don't have to look far to find the answer.
