Mar 3rd 2010 10:59AM as long as we are piling on sears, let me help. i have always found that the compitition to sears products were always better, even if it was in a very small way. case in point, there car shocks had larger dia. pistons, there metal on there equipment may be of a heavier gauge, there control mechanisms (snow blower) were of a superior design and function. sears price point on most of there items are spot on as compared to their compititors but don't be fooled into thinking you are getting a product of equal value.
my wife and i went to sears for a washer and dryer. were told of a promo that would have saved $300 off the $4000 bill. before delivery we discovered that the promo ended the day before our order even though the salesman gave it to us. went back and asked to speak to the manager. this useless a-hole sent an underling out to tell us tough, can't do anything for us! of course i immediately gave him the option to sell his appliances to someone else.

Apr 8th 2009 2:38PM on the flip side of all this p/c b/s i built a 4500sqft. house on 3 acres of rolling land. have four bedrooms, large; hell the master suite alone measures 720sqft, dining room, billiard room, large kitchen, 31/2 baths, study, twin staircase to the second level,oversized den and a four car garage---all filled up. paid about 1 million for all this "excess" and it's only for my wife and myself and two dogs---small breed. point i'm making is two fold: 1) one size does NOT fit all; that's why this is the greatest country on the planet, and 2) half of you jerks are just plain jealous!!!!!

Jan 26th 2008 9:46AM the percentage of callous,under performing cops is small as compared to the total number in law inforcement. that being said, this number is far too high in my opinion. a lot has to do with the very nature of the job but that just doesn't cut it as an excuse for bad behavior and improper proceedure. the most egregous violation that comes to mind is the one where an officer had stopped a car at night and had everyone on the ground and cuffed.not sure but i don't think it was anything more than a traffic stop gone bad.this was a family in the vehicle, not six 200 lb. intoxicated males. anyway, their small white dog was barking at the officer from about eight feet away, posing absolutely no threat to the officer. he remidied the situation by taking his revolver out and killing the dog! come the learn that this wasn't the first time that he had done this.
this is what we want out their protecting us?
