Syfy Cancels 'Stargate Universe' {AOL TV}
Dec 17th 2010 10:30AM I have watch Stargate from the beginning. Majoring in Aerospace Engineering, mathematics with a minor in ancient history I found the original Stargate creative. By using Egyptian mythology as a basis and the theories that the pyramids builders were helped by other than earth based intelligence made Stargate an interesting concept. SGA also utilized an age old theory that provoked remote but possible realities. The problem with SGU it did not have any realities to hang it hat on. There was little connection in any earth based history. This in my opinion is why SGU did not connect to the viewers.

Her most recent album kicked Taylor Swift off the top of the charts. Yet she did not receive any nominations for anything. The musci industry is such a rip off. Rap is a waste of time. Most rappers cannot sing at all. Grammys are a joke.Totally meaningless.

Apr 14th 2010 8:25AM Every comment I have read has left out one very important situation. Yes it true in most cases home have devalued in the past couple of years. Yes millions of mortgages are underwater. But what about the years prior to this recession. The value of the homes increased substantially and in some areas of the country like, California, Florida, Nevada just to name a few the values head straight skyward. While in other areas of the country like Texas prices remained relatively unchanged or only slightly increase. Yet while the owners in states that saw their values go straight up were able to realize huge profits did the government compensate owners in states that showed little or no increase any relief. I do not believe so. Now its those same owners that lived in states that saw insane increases that are hurting. Whould should they be compensated by the government and the tax payers in general?
