Supermarket 'fresh' bread is a con trick {Walletpop UK}

Mar 29th 2011 6:48AM This practise does not surprise me! Have you ever noticed how cheap loaves can actually be moulded into shapes? Good quality bread would turn to crumbs if you tried to rolled into a ball shape, but cheap bread would become something akin to plasticine and hold its shape. A supermarket bakery worker once told my mum that at the end of the day any left over loaves would be minced up and added back into fresh dough and 're-baked'. This probably explains the rather 'grey' looking appearance of much of the bread we see in supermarkets today.

All terrain pushchairs: Parentdish best buy guide {Parentdish - UK}

Oct 25th 2010 5:56AM My Quinny Speedi is the best ATP I have ever owned and as I have just had my third child I tried many different pushchairs. Originally I bought the Speedi for my second daughter when she was around 9 months and used it for about 2 years with her. Now I am using it for Thomas who is 3 months and it is still going strong. It is also cheaper than some of the models you have listed above.
