Jun 21st 2011 9:27PM Of course the kids know Joseph! He has been in their household many times as his mother was the maid, remember!!! Besides, he's gone on many vacations with the Schwarzeneggers. It's all been in the news over the past month!
Feb 23rd 2011 10:28PM Are we talking about the same person??? Lohan has been sent to rehab but it has done little to help her stay on the right side of the law. Any concessions to her gives her the impression the law is meaningless and she goes about her merry way doing as she pleases. She needs behavior modification therapy at this point and not rehab. In other words, she needs to experience the negative consequences of her behavior and that's where she has the best hope of long term change. Btw, what does stealing a necklace have to do w/ drug addiction in her case? Nada.
Feb 9th 2011 9:06PM What's with these silly names for these celebrities: TomKat, Brangelina and now LiLo for Logan. So idiotic. The media is as silly and as enamored w/ these people as it can be even to the point of making up silly names for them.
Lohan needs to sober up, literally, as she is taking the criminal justice system for granted. This lady thinks she can do as she pleases and the judges agree. She has them all in her back pocket. Maybe the judges shouldn't look at her in her tight, mini dress so they can think straight.
Dec 28th 2010 1:16PM Wonderful to see Ms. Rashaad's continued achievements! She has exemplified the finest character all of her life. Congratulations Phylicia!!! You are a delight and a treasure!!
Dec 21st 2010 11:38PM Race-baiters beware: The United States of America is a MELTING POT, meaning we're a nation of people of a great many backgrounds, cultures, skin colors, etc. Get used to it! This country is NOT YOURS to DICTATE TO anyway you please. Get this: The chief purpose of any story is to grasp the message of it. Whatever the characters are in appearance is of minor importance. Look at the bigger picture rather than be so petty as to whine and complain when others don't see life on your terms. Grow up, get an education and get exposure to other people who are from backgrounds different than your own. That will help open your mind and help you see we are all very similar and moreso than different. If you truly believe in God, you'd embrace the people HE created -- including those who have appearance and background outside your own.
Dec 21st 2010 11:26PM Tell those Tea Partying folks that they need to educate themselves with some history before yapping all their complaints against any social progress in the United States! In Hollywood, Cleopatra is WHITE! Cleopatra was African/Egyptian and by no means CAUCASIAN. Not only did Hollywood cast Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra decades ago, they're doing a remake w/ Angelina Jolie as Cleopatra. Are African-Americans complaining?? NO! It's understood that Hollywood is first of all about $$$$ and not necessarily about factual duplication of history. The same is the case w/ "Thor!" The TP'ers need to open their minds and look beyond their little world of me, myself and I.
Dec 8th 2010 7:44PM Who doesn't goof off and say something silly or foolish at some point in their lives???!! Macy's should have called the gentleman into the office, gotten his version of the story and then simply told him to no longer make any joke of any kind while on the job. What's so hard about that? And why are we no longer a country of second chances?? These cold-hearted managers just give people the axe for any simple slip up on the job. The managers of this kind are the ones who should be fired. Awful managerial training.
Dec 7th 2010 12:06PM Vanessa Williams is and has always been one beautiful lady inside and out. I predicted she'd be our first Miss America of African descent when I saw her in People mag just prior to the pageant.
She was super smart in handling the scandal that toppled her Ms. America crown and look at her now, 20 years later!!! She comes from a very fine family as well.
Dec 4th 2010 11:06PM Depp chooses his movies very well, no doubt. I agree they're all good, even those that have a rather odd twist, like Benny and Joon and Gilbert Grape. He always delivers.
Nov 6th 2010 12:09AM I agree about the overuse of "black people" and "white people." It's so deeply ingrained in the way many people view other people that they have trouble seeing people as simply people. And speaking of overuse of pitting black versus white in everything, I didn't like this park ranger going on his crusade to get more African Americans to national parks. Isn't it a private matter what we wish to do w/ our leisure time? It isn't his business nor Oprah's to get people to the parks. Go if you wish but don't intrude on other people's privacy to do as they choose.
