Jan 11th 2011 11:59PM Personally...I'm not too impressed with any of the candidates so far!Holmgren's the best out of all of them hands down, but I just don't think that he'll come down on the field and do it himself unless it's the last resort. The Browns have got to get it right this time. It's been a very dysfunctional team for the last 12 years. They finally put together a stellar front office and now all they need is a few more pieces to the puzzle and they'll be good to go.

Jan 3rd 2011 12:09PM Holmgren did the right thing by giving Mangini another year in 2010 to prove that he was for real...and Eric DESERVED that opportunity due to winning the last 4 games of the 2009 season, but one of the biggest factors as to why they had another 5-11 season was Brian Dabol the offensive cooridinator, Mangini should of let him go! this wasn't the proper time for this on-the-job-training nonsense especially trying to rebuild a team in such shambles!
The Browns looked like they were on the verge of turning this team around up until the Buffalo game and it seemed as though they started to regress instead! almost as though the players started to give up. and to make matters worse they get blown out by the Steelers Sunday in their own stadium 38-9...WTF WAS THAT!? that performance was totally uncalled for and just absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!
Mangini had the ball in his court, but couldn't right the ship! so YES! he needed to be relieved of his duties...it's only business nothing personal to Eric I'm sure and I myself am wishing him nothing but the best in his future endeavors! he'll make some needful team out there a fine defensive coordinator in the not so distant future!!!!!

Dec 16th 2010 11:15AM What a true American legend Mr. Feller was and in my book still is, even though he was way before my time! a true natural that was born to play the game.
Losing people like this is like a part of the game will be missing forever, but for a lot of people this baseball great will never be forgotten..nor will all the memories that he left behind!
A TRUE ICON, AND A GEM OF A PERSON! my condolences to his family and close friends! R.I.P. MR. Feller, it was an abolute priviledge to have known you for the short time that a lot of us younger and older folks did, even though many of us weren't able to see you in action...only reruns on film...god bless!!!!!

Dec 15th 2010 2:26PM I knew that it was just a matter of time before Owens opened up his big fat pie hole, there's an obvious difference between making a statement in a professional manner and speaking your mind about something that is not your place to discuss this matter in public whether it'd be in front of public or amongst your fellow teammates!
This team reminds me of the N.Y. Yankmees! they could give a rat's @ss about establishing any team chemistry for next few years and compete with a solid team where everyone can read each other's thoughts and play with pride and dignity, they'd rather out spend and buy their championships (well in this case super bowls) than have a solid foundation os players that respect each other and their coaches...WHAT A DAMN SHAME!!!
