Apr 6th 2011 5:02PM You know, a few years back I was very thin and weighed around 80 pounds. I am 4' 9" tall and I thought I looked good. I did, but not without clothes on. Time has a way of taking care of everything, now I am a little overweight and people still aren't happy with the way I look. So just forget about what they say. Also to Steve, Mitch McConnell said" The senate GOP will block every single bill..including the extension of unemployment benefits..until the President OKs Bush-era tax cuts for the wealthy". The GRAND OLD PARTY held our unemployed workers hostage until they got the tax cuts.

Feb 25th 2011 1:49AM In reading all of the above comments, I must aplogize for all the suffering and pain you have felt. I am a white 70 year old woman. I Have seen some of what you suffered when I was 19 and made my first trip to Shreveport. I could not believe my eyes the discrimination you experienced every day. Now at a older age I am finding out just how those days affected your life. I voted for our President OBama, and I think he is going to do a wonderful job, which I know scares the h@ll out of the republicans. In my heart I felt that it was time to have a man or woman of color in charge. Our state had a asian man as govenor and he also did a fine job.
And with President OBama, I just liked him!!! His intelligence, his cool behavior on the podium, he impressed me a lot. So just to let you know that someone is thinking about you and praying for good things to happen to you. Have a great day.

Feb 22nd 2011 8:20PM That must have been what happened to me when I tried to go to Amazon.com to buy a book. All of a sudden I was in Booksamillion.com. This was my first time trying to connect with Amazon so I didn't know I was not in the right site After I ordered I was told that in order to get the book I would have to pay 20.00 membership fees. Still thinking I was on amazon I said ok. I was very surprised when I found out that I was not on Amazon, but wanted the book so I didn't complain. Now I know better and will have nothing to do with Booksamillion again.I guess I got took, but never again. Have a great day

What is your problem with him, is it because he is half black and half white? Be honest now, he is a very highly educated president probably more then any other president we have ever had. Show some respect for our President!! You may not like him , but plenty of people do. Also, if you think you can do better, get off the internet and run for his job. Its easy to be rude on blog sites, no one can see just what you look like. I may not always agree with our President, but I still repect what he has to go through to get the job done. You should be ashamed of yourselves, I ask you what have you done to improve our lives or our futures? Nothing? Then button your lip!!
