First they were grousing over not winning the gold in men's figure skating; then over having their butts handed to them on the ice rink. Now they have to make excuses for their crap performance overall in the Olympics. Perhaps they need to heed the words of the comic strip Pogo: "We have met the enemy and he is us"

Feb 25th 2010 2:46PM Why the heck are some of my fellow Americans bad mouthing Canadians and Canadians bad mouthing Americans? I'll speak for Americans at least in saying that we couldnt have a better neighbor to the north than if we had to invent one on our own ... a 3000+ mile unprotected border, a people who landed with us at Normandy, a culture and civil society we'd love to have replicated everywhere in the USA (ok, scratch the weather .. that we dont want). So passions get a little heated because of some sports game (where the players are paid per game more than many of of us make in a year) ... relax, enjoy the show, and have a beer (preferably Canadian) after the game.

Aug 30th 2009 11:22AM What a joke ... fat Teddy knows the Catholic Church well. After all, wasnt it the church he paid off handsomely to have a marriage with kids annulled as if the kids didnt exist? He's a buffoon and a charlatan who knew beforehand that this letter would be made public so as to extend his "legacy" after he was shoved into the ground. That the Church was part of his scam ... not surprised give how much and how often the Kennedy's in general have paid off the church to foreward their PR-developed image.
