Jul 20th 2007 8:32PM I smoke..and will continue to do so...until I decide to quit. I don't smoke anywhere that is not a designated area. But people continue to harrass me- for reasons of their own- just to get the last word in before they enter the building. Why? I am where you want me to be-- OUTSIDE!
I don't harrass overweight people. I don't tell them that they can't sit next to me, I don't tell them that they must stop eating....or that they shouldn't have that piece of pie! I don't constantly tell them that food is hurting their health. Will food eateries soon try to 'tell' us what we can and cannot eat?..and when? Yes, there should be rules...but please leave smokers alone when they are following the set rules! Let's not go overboard with your opinions. Sometimes---as my mother taught me...don't say anything if you can't say anything nice! Smokers are not monsters. Smoking can and is being banned. But watch out!! Who knows what will be banned next??

Oct 31st 2006 6:58PM I avoid Walmart like it's got cooties! The employees are not helpful in the least....the stores are dirty and disheveled at all times of the day and during any season. When I did shop at Walmart and had waited patiently on line (which were always long since there was never more then a few open) to purchase something... I never received even a smile from the cashier. IF I got a THANK YOU, it was as if it hurt for the cashier to utter those words! The employees seem to think that a customer is a bother. So...I don't bother!!
