So apparently according to the story an ultrasound/sonogram was done, and again apparently this so called Dr. Geszler who authorized the intern to induce labor did not look at the ultrasound, just took the residents word. The resident is not a full doctor yet and their work should always be looked over and evaluated. Dr. Geszler should have checked that ultrasound before authorizing any further procedures.

The color of ones skin or their nationality does not matter. Our news media taints their stories by editorializing them. We as readers and viewers of such news need to reaize that all news stories are slanted by the views of the writers. WE NEED TO EDUCATE OURSELVES TO PREVENT OTHERS FROM INFLUENCING OUR PERCEPTIONS AND NOT JUST PULL THE ALMIGHTY RACE CARD. (This is not to say that racism does not happen, as we all know it does. We just need to stop blaming everything on race so we can combat the racism that does exists.)

Mar 30th 2010 7:42AM Can we just all agree our national government spending habits from both of the two major parties is way out of hand at the tax payers expense. Both parties are guilty of spending without thinking of where the monies come from. Every election the winning side claims they inherited a financial mess from the past administration. Which may be true but the past administration said the same thing when they were elected. So, by that reasoning the blame could conceivable go back as far as our first elected official.
They all spend like there is no tommorrow, and we all know it.
There is no longer any accountablility for ones actions or inactions, not in government and not in society. (In other words we always blame the other person for our misdeeds.)
If you do not like what the elected officials are doing WRITE THEM!
Please DO NOT wish our leaders to fail, for if they fail we as a nation fails.
I did not vote for President Obama, but he is my president and if he fails my country fails and I love my country and want to see my country prevail, so I want my president and congressmen to prevail as well.
AGAIN IF YOU DO NOT LIKE WHAT OUR LEADERS ARE DOING WRITE THEM. WRITE WASHINGTON, WRITE YOU CAPITAL, WRITE ANY OF YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS. IF THEY DON'T LISTEN VOTE AGAINST THEM WHEN THEY COME UP FOR RE-ELECTION.

Nov 9th 2009 10:57PM TSA still does the recertification every year. Whoever told you they didn't miss led you. As for those "radom" acts of additional screening to those that "don't fit the terrorist profile" I ask, what is the "terrorist profile"? Those terrorist or any other person or persons that are seeking to do harm, will use your weakest point against you. Therefore if we let little old ladies and little babies through without any screening, guess what the next terrorist will be dressed as. I do fold the clothes and repack as nicely as possible, sometimes even better than the owners did. I take my job seriously and professionally, so does the rest of my team. If there are those agents out there in other airports not doing the same, shame on them and they should be replaced. We need the security, but we also need to be professional about it.

As for those of you that want to bash I have one question, haven't you had enough bashing for the last 8 years? All I've heard is how bad you all wanted to take control, well you took control of the law making branch 2 years ago and nothing has been done, they promised a lot and produced nothing. Our president ( no matter how it is) can not make law, they only have the power veto it, but the law makers can over ride the veto if they so desire. I'm sure you'll remember that when Obama is in office and things don't go your way. You'll still blame the Repulicans for it. I don't understand why you all don't blame congress for their lack of work ethics. I write mine on a regular basis, most of you don't even know who your Senators are, and that's a real shame.

Feb 13th 2007 10:21PM Universal health care IS Socialized Medicine. It has failed in many countries world wide, they just don't tell you that the cost of it is half your wages like in Ireland.
We already have that here in the U.S.A. only it goes by the name of Medicare and Medicaid, both miserable failures. So why would we want to expand these failing programs?
The answer is to look more closely to the industry to provide us with affordable health care and affordable health care insurance. Provide some kind of incentive to businesses that offer health insurance to their employees etc.... the answer IS NOT expanding our already failing programs thats for sure.

Feb 13th 2007 9:57PM Hillary will make a great treasurer~remember how she turned $1000 into $24000 over night without any jail time like Martha. But, if she ever gets back in the white house I do hope she has learned to clean her bedroom better. Those white water boxes of documents where in there for 2 years before she found them, even though the courts ordered her to summit them. She said she couldn't find them. Is that how she'd run the country? God help us all if she is elected.
