11 Multivitamins to avoid {That's Fit}
Aug 16th 2007 6:36AM I have done my own research and found that 99% of store bought vitamins are not what they promise. Either they are wrong on their lables or thier "delivery" system is just not right for the human body! Especially women! I have found one company that does take care of and has a great concern for their customers. Thier nutritional supplements do exactly what they promise. They have discovered and developed a very special way to make sure the supplements are delivered to your body as promised! They have a full 95% absorbtion rate! The next best one for absorbtion is Natures Best at only 35% ! That's a HUGE difference! If you would like to find out more, visit....www.HappierYou.fourpointwellness.com
I promise you won't be disappointed!
Laser Printers as Bad for You as Cigarettes {Switched}
Aug 9th 2007 10:58PM I for one am really not suprised at all with these findings. I use to volunteer at a local elementary school in the copy room. I would be coughing by the end of the week. I figured it was from me being a smoker at that time. Turns out that over the weekend I would get better. Then by the end of the next week, coughing again. While I agree that smoking did not help the situation, I knew that something in that room was making worse. Now I know. I have since then quit smoking. For all of you non-smokers out there that have never had the displeasure of kicking this habit, it's harder to kick than cocain.You need to read that study before yelling and all that at a smoker. It took me a total of 28 tries before I was finally successful at quitting. So, before you judge anyone, try walking in thier shoes. It's tough. And one thing ppl forget in this country, tobacco built the foundations on which we stand in the country. Just as Hemp did. We just tend to forget that sometimes. Yes, I do believe that time is over and we need to try to help as many as possible to quit smoking, but I also belive it is a choice. Yes, ppl need to be considerate of others around them. Yes, ppl need to be reminded. No, ppl don't need a "mother" to tell them to and nag them about it.
Top Searched Children's Health Topics {AOL Hot Searches}
Jul 29th 2007 10:44PM I believe that this all true. I have a friend that has a son that was diagnosed with ADHD. The funny thing is, when they regulate his nutritional eating habits(no junk food, hot dogs, ect...)in particular the over proccessed foods, he's a normal acting child. I do believe that there is a lot of misdiagnosis in this country. What I also believe is that all of our household cleaners and personal care products in this country are causing the dramamtic increase in all of the ailments.54% of stay at home mothers are digagnosed with cancer! Our children are developing asthma and other "now" diseases at an alarming rate! What do you think is causing it!? To learn the truth, is to be enlightened, liberated. Check out my website to find out how you can learn the truth behind the myths, so to say. It never hurts to just listen. http://www.HappierYou.fourpointwellness.com
Southern Sweet Tea {AOL Food Blog}
Jul 3rd 2007 3:09PM If you aren't up to the simple syrup part of making sweet tea, Here's how I make mine. (My Grandmama taught me years ago, and it's better than anything you can get in the resturants.) Bring your water to a boil in a med. pan. Remove the water from the stove and add about 6 to 8 tea bags and let sit for about 15 minutes. Add one cup of sugar to your pitcher, pour in your tea (it should still be hot)Stir it until it's syrupy, add water 'til pitcher is full. When you make about 3 gallons a day, it comes in handy to have a good shortcut! LOL! If you prefer you can use your coffeepot. Same amount of tea bags, to 6 - 8 cups of water. the more water, the darker. but not too much water. ;) I use Luzianne for ice tea. Its pretty good. My kids love to drink it in the afternoon with left over drop biscuits from breakfast. Now thats good!
The Smartest (and Least Smart) Cities in the U.S. {Gadling}
Jun 2nd 2007 7:16AM Ok....This is rediculous. Yes, some cities are more "educated" than others. So what. But have you ever noticed that the more educated we as a human race become...the dumber we act? It is because of the lack of common sense. There needs to be a study on the common sense factor. I would be willing to bet that the cities that came in 1st on THIS list would be last on the common sense.
Arby's takes "super-size" to the next level {BloggingStocks}
May 29th 2007 10:36PM I personally like the 5 for 5.95 deal at Arby's. No not all at once, but spread out over 3 days worth of lunch for myself. The McD's 1.00 menu is great for a big family too though. But! The thing is, most people do not go in a sit down to try to eat all of it at once. It is too much food.....for one sitting. It is a better deal than most fast food joints, because the average person will take home with them what they can't eat and have it at another time. But. I know that the author is just trying to stir things up. :)
Boycott Rosie? {AOL Video Blog}
May 26th 2007 4:51PM I loved watching The View......until Rosie. When she came on in Sept of last year.....I quit watching. As for the blow up with Hasselbeck...rosie was in the wrong. You could see her tormenting and gloating. Hasselbeck is pregnant for goodness sakes! And for Rosie to get her blood pressure up so high, is unexcusable! The smirky little look that she gave Sherry when she mentioned the baby was enough for me to become even more disgusted at Rosie. Elisabeth never metioned that Iraq was our enemy. Rosie was looking for a dramatic exit from the show. She got it. As for Alicia Silverstone, that was just childish of her. Rosie is not that intelligent. She feeds off everyones distress and upheaval. Rosie needs to learn that what she says just doesn't hold to much importance with anyone. She's like Bush....no one cares.and I won't even start on that one!
Foods That Burn Fat: The Top 10 List {Slashfood}
May 23rd 2007 8:17PM One of these is not enough. But! If used on a daily based in cooking and snacking, with even a light routine of exercise, does help to speed up the fat burning process. I personally have added several things to my daily cooking routine, and 7 of the 10 are on my list. Not only have I noticed a significant increase in wieght loss, but also much more energy. It's all in how you look at it. Google each item listed and look for the health benefits of each. It may just suprise you! Of course, I agree with a comment that was posted earlier, you can't add this to your diet and then go sit on the couch! You have to watch how much starch you consume as well. It turns to sugar, and then to fat, then it lands on your butt! Just my take on things! Check it out!
The Best Free Stuff on the Internet: News {Switched}
May 21st 2007 7:19AM I love to sit down in the early morning hours and read my newspaper. I read the online articles too, but nothing compares to a printed newspaper. I've done this ritual every morning since I was a pre-teen with my Dad, and I see no sense in stopping. I get caught up on local happenings and I love to clip coupons. and as long I don't see my name in the obituaries.....I know it's going to be a good day! HAHA!
