Nov 1st 2010 12:06AM Sounds to me more like a kid who wants to see gore and guts splattered across the screen with no finesse. Stick to your slasher flicks, kid. You wouldn't know a real horror flick if it bit you in the butt and ripped a chunk out.
Custer's Last Flag Could Fetch $5 Million {Luxist}
Jun 26th 2010 6:16PM Remember the dates involved in all this? Found in 1876, given away in 1880 by the finder, and the last possessors sold it 1895. Artifacts then didn't have the protection they do now, public attitudes were vastly different, and any laws passed are generally not retroactive.
Kentucky Is Tourney's New Top 'Cats {Fanhouse NCAA Basketball Blog}
Mar 21st 2010 1:41PM Uh, let me guess; you must be an ACC fan? Sorry to spoil your vent bunky, but you've got it wrong on all counts. UK fans do care greatly about the character of their program and doing it the right way. When you're the winningest men's team in basketball, there are going to be many out there who can't stand the idea that their particular team or league isn't up there instead. The sounds like the sour grapes I'm hearing. Get your facts straight and let your brain do the talking instead of your knees jerking in response. Like the last guy said, keep taking the meds. Eventually they will kick in.

Backlash over light bulb ban continues to build in Europe {Daily Finance}
Sep 13th 2009 12:46PM I have to wonder about the collective intelligence of the average AOL user after reading the inaccuracies and idiotic biases of the responses on here. A few examples from just the first page;

Ever see a glass themometer
Susan; red glass thermometers are made with alcohol and red dye. Mercury is too toxic to be allowed in general consumer products.

incandescent bulbs I believe are made in Kentucky and cfl"s are made in China.....Makes me wonder really whats going on.
Shawn, what on earth are you trying to say here? You’re equating Kentucky and China as being on the same level of environmental stewardship? The statement of incandescent bulbs being manufactured only in Kentucky shows an appalling lack of awareness on many, many levels. Here’s a little hint; light bulbs are made world wide, and in many locales in the US, and by a wide variety of manufacturers.

Here are Some Really Cool Videos on Liquid Metal Mercury. Enjoy.
??? What rock did you just crawl out from under, dude? It sounds to me as though you’ve been enjoying way too many amateur pharmaceuticals. This was a discussion on CFLs and mercury waste disposal problems. Oh, I’m sorry that does sound like your favorite band doesn’t it? They’re wasted and need to be disposed of.
Repeat after me, young Jedi; I will seek out a 12 step program…I will seek out a 12 step program…..
Rap Is Scottish; America Is Confused {News Campus Blog}
Jan 4th 2009 1:27AM Try looking up the 1956 Cadets recording of "Stranded in the Jungle" that utilized spoken word in rhythm with vocalizations and music. Some consider it to be a precursor of rap as the elements were there.
