Jan 29th 2011 9:40AM is that her in the pic? I thought someone dug up Rerun and put a wig on him.
Jan 22nd 2011 1:49PM isnt it possible that when the cards came out, the companies told the players when and where the pic was taken, and perhaps even if they dont remember being told, it is in their subconscious. I know that if I was going to be distributed on a card I would have been sure to ask for a copy of the card and some info.
Jan 22nd 2011 1:46PM baseball cards starting in the 80's do not hold as much value because so many of them were printed. collectors care very little about steroids, they care about performance and future performance. While they arent printing as many cards as much as they did in the 80's and 90's, a new phenomenon has emerged and that is that evry card company is producing so many "rare"ubsets and parallel cards that while there may be only of 100 card produced or even 50, you know that you dont need to pay too much money for it because there are going to be 100 different cards produced of any one player that are just as rare.
Dec 21st 2010 3:43PM coyotebluffs must be the guys lawyer. he didnt pick it up he caught it. I hope the guy is paying alot of money for his lawyer and loses. just more proof that the american dream has changed to "hope you are in the right place at the right time, and can get a good lawyer"
Dec 14th 2010 10:05AM Being an A-Hole messes kids up. Divorce isnt exactly easy on the family involved, but plenty of people get divorced and still have good kids.
Dec 6th 2010 2:45PM what was that young stud pithcers name again? I think it was Mark Prior Jr. or something, cant really remember. Maybe he will be an answer to a trivia question in about 10 years.
Nov 26th 2010 2:27PM Most people already know of the problems that Chris Henry had in life and the circumstances surrounding his death. This was a story about a woman that loved her son, saw him dying, and chose to have her sons legacy be more than that of a troubled athlete. This was a story about a woman that overcame her grief and made her son's last act in this life an act of love, charity, and heroism . Keep your hate to yourselves, I wasnt a fan of Chris Henry but I am now, and I am a huge fan of his mothers.
Oct 28th 2010 2:56PM I disagree, I think the Rangers remind me of the Phillies from 2008 with all the big bats they have. The Giants remind me more of the 1993 Phillies, a team of castaways and oddballs that nobody really expected much from. Unfortunately they lost the WS but they were fun to watch and it was a great year. But the Rangers are definitely more like the the 2008 Phillies than the Giants are.
Oct 28th 2010 9:41AM it was kind of fun watching cliff lee get hammered and losing
Oct 10th 2010 12:23AM I dont know about Utley being hit, it didnt look like it to me, but even the instant replay wasnt 100% clear. I didnt see the catcher argue or get upset. Utley was SAFE at second the replay even backed it up !!!!
