Clear Channel takes $19 billion buyout {BloggingStocks}

May 29th 2007 8:04PM How today can Clear Channel even begin to start a programme where they say you can "text message the studio" when often the announer is voice tracked hours before the show even airs and not even "live" in the studio to even receive any comment,request, or dedication?
i'm sure they won't have ANY announcers who ae voice tracked announce a text message option as that would be illegal and open to many lawsuits.

Really, really no-frills flying {BloggingStocks}

May 21st 2007 10:51PM as long as they don't become obsessed about taking care of top management "the same ones that drive american airline companies in chapter 11, and then reward the clowns that put them in that positon, only to reward them with big bonuses to keep their jobs because they are so valuable to the company"... (do you see a pattern here) after reoganization. frills are overrated for todays traveling american consumer because they feed us alot of what we don't want and expect everyone to pay for it. as lond as they keep it simple and CLEAN, they will be successful.

Wal-Mart no match for Target on fashion {BloggingStocks}

May 21st 2007 10:24PM Walmarts price point selling will never go over in fashion. EVER. You can beat as many vendors over the head as you want and lower the price, but in fashion, once that price hits Walmart,it is no longer an "in" look, but rather a McDonalds clothing statement. Walmart needs to stick to durable consumer good and stay out of fashion. Nobody in fashion wants to be a Walmart icon unless your selling farmer jeans.

Sleep Under the Stars in the "Honey Room" at L'Albereta {Luxist}

May 1st 2007 6:19PM now this is nice, but i would rather forget the bugs and falling asleep and waking up soaked and just have a thick glass ceiling. if i want to sleep outside i would just move an inflation bed out to the porch.

Muon Aluminum Speakers {Luxist}

Apr 24th 2007 6:58PM these look like the newfangled razors i shave with that they put on the market. i wouldn't want these ugly things sitting in my living room EVER and i don't care how great they sound.

McAfee's Mansion, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Apr 21st 2007 3:48AM This IS the house.
don't bust on his software when this is the hardware. [I can't stand geeks with leaks.. but that is another story].
Toss a line off the back porch and your catching fish or watching the kids swim in the pond. Why is this house for sale? Because the view never changes and you better live nearby your work, or want to keep the folks off to the farm. This is a case of too much money and too little time to spend there. He will be selling his boat in a few years too... just don't let the name grab you.. but this place is a really good deal for someone with the right lifestyle. How could you walk away from the inside which had to have had a woman's touch who knew what she was doing.
Grade A
you will find no better in that location or in value no matter to keep or sell.

McAfee's Mansion, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Apr 21st 2007 3:31AM Now this is what I'm talking about ! save the software talk for the geek chat rooms you dorks.
Now let's get down to brass tacks. Why is this for sale? Because it is a sight to behold and falling in Love with this place is like falling in Love again.
Location is great and you can have the world at your finger tips. The ponds cannot be touched compared to a pool as they are much better to swim in and children Love them more. (NOT to mention you can throw some fish in there, and they can breed, and you can feed them, and you can look like Dr. Grawbow in a few years and take the kids (or Dad/Grandpa)out fishing. (and it looks like you can throw a line off the porch).
This place needs for nothing and the layout from the inside is a crusher.
WOW !
Grade B+
