Fur Goes Casual in Fall {Luxist}

Obviously you cannot control how the animals whose fur you wear are treated, but you should at least be aware of the methods used by some in this trade. I don't necessarily agree with PETA's sensationalistic tactics (and devaisdad, you are right--spray painting someone's fur coat is a crime), but if the PETA video that B posted doesn't bother you, then there is no arguing with you--you are way outside American society's accepted norm of values and ethics. The only way to ensure that no one uses the brutal methods shown in the PETA video is to raise public awareness and eliminate the demand for fur.
