A young man, younger than my oldest daughter of 4, a child in my eyes, gunned down and you racist idiots must stop the cycle..just b/c your mommy and daddy taught you hatred and racism and bigotry does not mean you cannot break the chain! As i stated earlier, look up previous serial killers and child molesters and see which race wins..it would be my race, WHITE.

May 28th 2009 11:51PM Ok, I don't even listen to rap. I am a 40 yr. old white woman with daughters who listen to rap. I don't choose to listen to it BUT I do know it is an artform and to rejoice over a very young man's death is horrific! When you have to answer to his maker for your hurtful comments, which by the way is God, in case you don't know, I just know I would not want to be in your shoes.

May 20th 2009 1:41AM If this building was so special/historical to the town than why did they not purchase it? I have spent many,many days in the town of Boonsboro MD. as I live in Harpers Ferry WV. I would think that the sale of this historical place could have been purchsed by anyone just the way Ms. Roberts purchased it. Be thankful for the tourism dollars that your town will recieve because of this. I think I detect a hint of envy in some of these negative posts.

Apr 29th 2009 11:18PM Vern Gosdin = the greatest in country music! Along with the other greats, George Jones, Hank Williams, etc, you are the the best among these.
I am a rock n roll diehard but from the first time I heard this man open his mouth and sing while I was a teen in the 80's, his voice has given me cold chills and to this day STILL DOES. No matter how many times I hear chiseled in stone or that just about does it don't it,I still get goosebumps down my spine! R.I.P Mr. Gosdin. You will be missed by this gal.
