Anti-Immigrant Song: "Illegal Aliens in My Yard" {Cuelate}

Dec 24th 2009 11:44AM Fine - speak only Spanish. Then try to go to college. Get a job in a law firm speaking no English or broken English. Or how about Wall Street with no English? A government job? English is necessary in this country, otherwise expect to do all of the jobs that are described in the song.

50 Best TV Comedies -- Ever {Inside TV Blog}

Dec 30th 2008 8:27PM You had me right up until Gilligan's Island beat Golden Girls - by a lot! Huh?

5 Questions With: Joel McHale {Inside TV Blog}

Dec 20th 2008 4:50PM People constantly confuse the things Sarah Palin actually said with the satire pieces done by Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live. Most things attributed to Palin were never uttered by her! Armies of reporters descended on Wasilla, looking through garbage trying to "get something" on Palin, while no one cared about Chicago or Illinois, the poster children for "America's Most Wanted" and the political home of Obama! I'm sure if I relied on Jon Stewart and SNL for my news, I'd think Palin was a trainwreck, too! Apparently, too many rely on Stewart, a man whose news show follows talking puppets!

High Flying and Global Warming Words Get John Travolta In Trouble {Luxist}

Apr 8th 2007 8:48PM I wonder if John Travolta would like to come to my house and shovel the 4 inches of "global warming" off of my driveway.

Paris Too Hardcore for the Japanese? {Gadling}

Oct 29th 2006 3:41PM Never been to Paris, although I do want to go sometime in my life. However, I know of an American woman who was spit on in the streets by a perfect stranger about the time the latest Gulf War started - politics certainly plays a role, although she shrugged the incident off. I'm not sure I would have been that understanding about the incident.

Most Baggage Lost Ever! {Gadling}

Oct 15th 2006 5:28PM My ex and I brought back a bottle of tequila from Mexico years ago - when we arrived at the airport, our bag was missing. We went down to claim it a few days later when we got a call, and found an empty bottle inside our luggage! We had to laugh - they drank the tequila and put the empty bottle back in our luggage! Viva la fiesta!

Dixie Chicks Jab at Mel Gibson in N.Y. {The Boot}

Aug 7th 2006 9:31PM Being able to voice your opinions? Yes! Making fun of a person just because you can? No - although they fall just short of libel. Mel Gibson made mistakes, took the blame, and is trying to fix the problem - did they make fun of the Kennedy who (whoops!) was loaded and junked his car while high, and checked into rehab? Um, I think not. He also lied about it - did they mention that? Um, I think not. They aren't a country group that is committed to making people feel good with their music anymore - they have chosen to align themselves with a distinct political movement, and have become a very vocal spokesperson for that movement, including trashing anyone in public who may believe differently than they do. That's the difference. People have such short memories anymore. Natalie Main stated that she doesn't believe in patriotism - doesn't understand the concept. #1 - that's called Civics 101. #2 - Tell that to the families of the firemen and policemen who died on 9/11. #3 - how, if you don't believe in yourself as an American, do you define yourself, and why would I listen to someone who is so clueless?
