You urge people to "think back" - well, if that is the case, then I can name more than just a couple of reprehensible things that the US has done as well. Does this mean that I would turn my back on the US? It certainly does not.
I certainly hope that any non-US readers of Luxist undertand that your viiews do not represent the "American" point of view.

May 5th 2010 2:54PM I attended this race last weekend - it was very exciting to watch! There were some beautiful historic cars being raced that day as well, and I would love to see Luxist covering some more events featuring classic cars.
Nic Cage's Bel-Air Home Back On The Market {Luxist}
Apr 30th 2010 12:00PM I must admit, I really adored this house when it was filled with all of Cage's unusual belongings and art. It wasn't exactly to my taste, but I loved the way the decor gave it a personality that spoke to one specific individual's often bizarre tastes. I've seen too many bland designer homes on this site and elsewhere - this one just seemed to be one person's own dream home.
I understand that Cage has had to sell several of his properties, and I have seen a few of the art pieces from this home on some fine arts auction sites. Good luck to you, Mr. Cage, and I hope that wherever you land, you can once again deck your home in everything that makes you happy.
