MV Agusta Updates Brutale for 2010 {Luxist}
Oct 1st 2009 11:06AM Fantastic bike to be sure! One note though, is that the Brutale wasn't released until '04 - I know, since I have one of the first ones. I'll be riding it around Malibu today, so was happy to see this post this morning! Oh, these new ones do tempt, but frankly I am not a good enough rider to get the most out of even the 750.

The Classicist: True Brit - Barbour's Best for Fall {Luxist}
Aug 31st 2009 11:20AM Huh - very odd indeed. I'll do a little poking around online and see what I can find. Maybe Barney's had counterfeits? Maybe Barbour makes different models in different locations? Whatever the case, I'd like to know! I'll be sure to post whatever I find.
The Classicist: True Brit - Barbour's Best for Fall {Luxist}
Aug 31st 2009 10:44AM I wondered too, but I bought it myself at Barney's in SF so assume so. It has all manners of UK emblazoned on the inside, but when using an inside pocket I found a "Made in Romania" tag. How old is yours? I bought this one in April of this year. Maybe they recently changed?

The Classicist: True Brit - Barbour's Best for Fall {Luxist}
Aug 31st 2009 10:24AM I recently bought a Barbour jacket to replace one from years ago. I was sad to see it was made in Romania - had I noticed that, I wouldn't have bought it, and this will be my last jacket from them. British indeed.

New Rolls-Royce Ghost Gets 563 hp turbo V12, sub-5 second 0-60! {Luxist}
Jul 22nd 2009 12:05AM Back when Rolls Royce was a stand alone company, they never released anything as crass as bhp. It was always listed as "adequate." Sad it has come to this, and I really wish they would let these old marques just die rather than torture them into something new and flash.
Surryano Ham, European Style Without The Import Tax {Luxist}
Jun 12th 2009 10:01AM Hey HEY DUDE7, read the posting. The Purveyor is Surry farms, so the name "Surryano" is a clever take on Serrano. Sheesh.
