BofA Mailing Principal Reduction Offers to 200,000 Borrowers {AOL Real Estate}
May 10th 2012 5:34PM Once again the people who pay their bills get screwed. Our Mtge was never late, we struggled but kept it paid...and our reward when we tried to refi ?
We were told to take a flying leap several times (in so many words)
Seems only those who bought over their heads are getting help, and the rest of us hard working schmoes who do the right thing & keep our Mtge up to date get the short end of the stick again !
Now we have filed a complaint with the Feds, and will see what happens.
Bank of America: Principal Reduction for 200,000 Homeowners {AOL Real Estate}
Mar 10th 2012 12:17PM Wonderful ! This is all BS by BOA because they are the first ones to put the screws to you.
They have refused to refinance us several times to a lower rate stating "Your Mtge payment is up to date and on time every month, thus you don't qualify for a re-finance, however you can stop paying your Mtge and go into default..and we will consider refinance and your credit score at that time"
So in other words..."you are one of the many people who take their Mtge seriously, make sure to pay it on time,didn't buy a MacMansion, bought a home they could afford, so as a reward for being a good customer, you can take a flying leap off the Tappan Zee Bridge"
All this is true and the Gvt doesn't give a damn and lets them continue to ruin peoples lives and pay their exectutives bonuses with bailout money !!!!
I am considering organizing an "Occupy Bank of America" in protest. Anyone else ???
A light sleeper's lament: six things you shouldn't do in a hotel {Gadling}
Jan 14th 2012 1:02PM And lets not forget the Hotels in Vegas...MGM Grand in particular who have a large pool and a rolling river where you can float on a tube..except most times you can't move down the river because many "young" people are just standing there (instead of being in pool) block your way, leave garbage & filth in the water, along with broken beer bottles at bottom...and MGM Mgt refused to address it or at least give some sort of compensation for you being unable to use the river after spending 20 bucks to rent a big tube to float on.
A light sleeper's lament: six things you shouldn't do in a hotel {Gadling}
Jan 14th 2012 12:55PM I have to agree, people have terrible habits and total lack of courtesy when they stay in hotels...its like since its not "their" home, they can act badly, be loud, or trash up the place.
I stayed in one chain hotel on Long Island a couple of years back...and the Princeton Swim team was there as well..on my floor as well as right next to my room. From 8pm on till the wee hours you could not even get to the ice machione down the hall as it was a sea of bodies from their team as well as others visiting. Vodka & beer bottles everywhere, lound yelling, thumping, it was like being in Penn Sta during rush hour.
Hotel Mgt tried to quell them....but failed.
I contacted Princeton the next business day...and what did they say ?
"Oh..that can't be our students, they are always told to be respecful at hotels"
Yeah..you're right.....I must have mistaken "Princeton Tigers" shirts for something else.
What really gets me crazy is when you have people who slam their room doors at all hours of the nite.
Many stays in AC I learned to not go when kids are off from school, because parents do turn them loose in the hallways so all you hear are the thuds of their shoes, banging doors, yelling, screaming, and carrying on...and the parents ? Oblivious and happy they could have some peace in their room at the expense of other customers.
And what about those who hover and congregate around the buffett so you can't even get close enough to toast a bagel...they stand and eat off every tray of food, stuffing themselves, then make up a big tray of free food to take back to their rooms to continue eating...leaving crumbs or heavily "touched" food for the rest of us, and by the time the hotel refills everything...its time to leave for my appointments
I could go on & on with horror stories......

Did she keep looking down at her crotch like she does in concert when she wears tight outfits to make sure her camel-toe is showing ?

Decision 2012: Katie Couric and Ricki Lake to Duke It Out for Daytime Slot? {PopEater}
Mar 17th 2011 1:41PM NO FREAKING way would I ever watch or want to see Ricki Lake back on. Her show sucked from day one. For that matter I'd rather see Richard Bey back, or even Donahue & Sally Jesse.
BUT absolutely not Ricki again nor Rosie the pig.
Its bad enough we have a guerrilla named Wendy on.
